Rare deal knocks Apple’s 256GB iPad mini 6 with 2-yr. Apple Care+ to $398 ($250+ off)

While the new iPad mini 7 is likely on the horizon now, Amazon is now offering a particularly notable deal on the, as of right now, latest iPad mini 6 with the 256GB storage upgrade and the bonus 2 years of Apple Care+ down at $398 shipped. This configuration carries a $649 MSRP and the Apple Care+ bundle typically goes for between $599 and and $699 at Amazon. Today’s deal leaves you with some serious savings at up to $251 off, and that’s before you even factor in the extra Apple coverage.

While the 64GB model is just about always in the $400 range these days, the more sought-after 256GB config almost never drops below $500 at Amazon, with or without the 2 years of Apple Care+.

The iPad mini 6 certainly isn’t the latest and greatest in Apple tablet tech, but it is the most recent version Apple has released and is still a wonderful, more manageable form-factor if you ask me. It is becoming increasingly difficult to get directly from Apple and remains a notable lower-cost, current-generation tablet experience – only the iPad 10th Gen goes for any less (currently on sale for $299 at Amazon).

iPad mini features a more compact 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display alongside 12MP Ultra Wide front camera with Center Stage, USB-C connectivity, Apple Pencil support, and Touch ID.
