Kindle Scribe

Joining a host of now live Prime Big Deal Days offers on the rest of its in-house tech, Amazon is now serving up a sizable discount on its Kindle Scribe Essentials Bundle down at $299.97 shipped. While we are expecting the base model without the extras to go on sale shortly, the Essentials Bundle is now $140 off the regular $440 price tag and includes the leather folio cover, Basic stylus, and a USB-C wall charger. This deal is on par with the lowest price we have tracked this year and joins some other early fall Prime Day Kindle deals below.

The Kindle Scribe sits atop Amazon’s lineup of readers, blending the line between Kindle and a full on tablet with the ability to scribble notes, make journal entries, lists, and more right on the screen with the included stylus pen. It lands with a 300ppi 10.2-inch, front-lit display and the “longest battery life of any Kindle” – “Kindle Scribe offers months of reading and weeks of writing on a single charge.”

And here’s some details on the included magnetic case the Essentials Bundle ships with:

Designed for Kindle Scribe, these slim, form-fitting covers attach securely and fold into two reading positions. They put your Kindle to sleep when closed and wake upon opening, so it’s easy to get back to reading and writing.
