Next Xbox Partner Preview showcase goes live this week with 25 mins. of new games, here’s what to expect

Next Xbox Partner Preview showcase

It’s been over a few months since Xbox graced us with its “future of gaming” summer showcase, and even longer than that since the last Xbox Partner Preview, but that all changes later this week. Over on the official Xbox Wire, an official announcement for the next Xbox showcase has surfaced some three days before the October Xbox Partner Preview will air around the world. In the latest installment of the ongoing Xbox Partner Preview series, we are set for a “no-fluff, all-games broadcast” come Thursday, October 17, and we will detail what to expect down below.

Next Xbox Partner Preview showcase

The June summer showcase was an exciting one, packed with fresh looks at major upcoming titles, including DOOM: The Dark Ages, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, South of Midnight, World of Warcraft: The War Within, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and one of my personally most anticipated releases, METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER, all of which was capped off with a dedicated Call of Duty broadcast.

But for this week’s show, we are flipping back over the Xbox Partner Preview, which is set to showcase a “mix of new and upcoming games” with “over a dozen new trailers over the course of around 25 minutes.”

The Xbox Partner showcase is all about showcasing titles from Xbox’s “talented partners across the globe,” including new game reveals, release date details, and gameplay footage. This Thursday Xbox says we will be getting a first look at gameplay from Alan Wake II’s The Lake House, a new trailer for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, gameplay from Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, “multiple world premieres, and other great titles coming to Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and Game Pass.”

Beyond that, it’s anyone guess.

The next Xbox Partner Preview will broadcast live on Thursday, October 17 at 10 a.m PT/1 p.m. ET.
