Following right along with the rare chance to land some cash savings on LEGO’s retro NES build through October 20, the LEGO Group is back again today with a huge reveal of one of its upcoming Marvel sets, which you can get a thorough look at here today. The new 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion set will be hitting the markets this November and will certainly add even more excitement to your LEGO Marvel display, with plenty of brick-built characters coming along for the ride – and the company is even offering a limited edition 6546714 Cerebro gift with purchase too! Head below for more information on what to expect and to get a look through the collected photos.
The next addition to LEGO’s Marvel theme, the new 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion set is a jam-packed love letter to Marvel’s X-Men universe that brings plenty of favorite heroes, villains, and those who fall between the lines into one dynamic scene. Priced at $329.99 shipped, it is poised to release on November 1, 2024, for Insiders, with a general release date of November 4, 2024. What’s more, is that the LEGO Group is also offering a limited edition 6546714 Cerebro GWP between November 1 and 7 to further complement the already impressive kit.
Stacking up to 3,093 pieces, this looks to be a highly-detailed model of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters that can be populated by the 10 included minifigures, which will likely be the biggest draw for many fans. The mansion itself is huge, measuring in at 16 inches wide and 10.6 inches tall, with two different levels that can be split into three different sections, giving builders some truly unprecedented modular possibilities. It also comes designed with compatibility in mind, linking up right along with other sets like the 76269 Avengers Tower, 76178 Daily Bugle, and 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum, allowing you to build a massive modular display-worthy street.
Among the minifigures you’ll find plenty of iconic favorites making a return here, with Wolverine, Professor X, Cyclops, Storm, Rogue, and Magneto, while we’re also getting four brick-built debuts with Gambit, Iceman, Bishop, and Jean Grey (outside the rare Phoenix persona from the 2012 San Diego Comic Con exclusive). It’s a pretty solid lineup of characters, though there are a few missing favorites that might be a little bit of a disappointment for folks like Jubilee, Nightcrawler, and more. Plus, there’s also a buildable Sentinel figure thrown into the mix too!
Unfortunately, the page for the 6546714 Cerebro GWP seems to have gone down, but from the images we’ve seen, it features a focus on Professor X at the console inside Cerebro’s chamber with a fun Easter Egg featuring Jubilee – we’ll update this post with more photos when they are once again available.
