Apple’s new iPad mini 7 has arrived, we have detailed how to score a deal on your pre-order, and now it’s time to look at some cases and sleeves. While I personally tend to favor a sleeve to keep things protected until I’m ready slide it out and get my hands-on directly on the Apple hardware, some folks need some extra protection or something to prop it up at a good viewing angle and we are here to take a look at some of our favorites. From the brand new Apple magnetic Smart Folio color options to ultra-affordable solutions from $8.50 or so, right through to high-end full-grain leather to lug your mini in style, you’ll find the best iPad mini 7 cases and sleeves down below with more to come shortly.
Best iPad mini 7 cases and sleeves
As I’m sure we all know by now, you don’t actually have to buy a new cover for your A17 Pro mini, the 6th generation models fit just fine. But if you are looking for a refresh, here are some models you’ll at least want on your radar.
All-new Apple Smart Folio colors at $59
Again, all of Apple’s 6th generation iPad mini cases will fit on the new model, but it has now issued four new models at the same $59 list price and in identical colors to the models it offers for the latest M2 iPad Air – Charcoal Gray, Denim, Light Violet, and Sage. They once again offer that elegant magnetic connection to the miniature iPad with front and back protection alongside automatic wake/sleep, and the ability to fold “it into different positions to create a stand for reading, viewing, typing, or making FaceTime calls.”

Spigen Armor and Hybrid from $19
If you’re not into the new Apple colorways that have launched (and don’t want to use/or don’t have an iPad 6th gen case laying around), Spigen is another one of our go-to brands when it comes to saving some cash. The brand has a few models up for sale specifically tailored for the new A17 Pro and 6th gen iPad mini including its Rugged Armor model that fully supports magnetic charging of the Apple Pencil and Apple Pencil Pro and the Ultra Hybrid Pro, which comes in a few color options and features a flexible cover that doubles as a stand as well as the same Apple Pencil support. Both models are also sitting at or below the most recent regular price tags right now too:
Harber London leather iPad mini sleeve at $79
For folks who really just need something you can rely on to house the mini while it’s getting stowed in a bag or perhaps anytime in between uses, just any old sleeve will do. But for folks with a penchant for gorgeous leather treatments that take things up a notch, it, at least for me, doesn’t get much more gorgeous than the Harber London Slim Leather iPad mini 7 sleeve. Made from 100% full-grain leather with 100% soft wool felt lining, it comes in tan brown, black, and navy colorways and is, frankly, one of the nicest on the market in my opinion – every single piece of Harber London gear I have tested out has impressed me, and I love is all-leather accessories.
You can find all of the models in its lineup that are now ready for the new iPad mini 7 on this landing page (just be sure to click through and choose your model from the pull-down menu).

It attempts to leave Apple’s design intact as much as possible , delivering a totally clear vibe starting from just $11 Prime shipped, while still ensuring you can snap your Apple Pencil magneticly to the side without removing the case.
