Nintendo has officially unveiled its 2024 Black Friday deals. While not exactly a traditional Nintendo Black Friday ad as it were, it has now taken to its official site to detail the official deals going live this month. Beyond the 2024 holiday console bundles offer that were already featured and are now live, there is a large selection of big-time Nintendo Switch games and hardware set to go on sale for Black Friday and we now have all of the official details for you. When do the Nintendo Black Friday deals go live this year?
This year Nintendo is running a tiered event with various deals going live both directly via Nintendo’s site and major retailers including Best Buy, GameStop, Target and Walmart, but you can also bet Amazon will be getting in on the action despite not being mentioned by name in the official Nintendo announcement today. The deals are set to kick off on the eShop starting on November 19 and at select retailers come November 24 this year.
What are the Nintendo Black Friday deals this year?
Nintendo isn’t giving out a ton of details on its Black Friday deals in today’s announcement, but do have a good idea of the official price drops on select Switch games:
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom $50 (Reg. $70)
- Super Mario Maker 2 $40 (Reg. $60)
- Animal Crossing New Horizons $40 (Reg. $60)
- Pikmin 4 $40 (Reg. $60)
- Nintendo Switch Sports $40 (Reg. $60)
- Kirby and the Forgotten Land $40 (Reg. $60)
- Super Mario Odyssey $30 (Reg. $60)
- Pikmin 1 + 2 $30 (Reg. $50)
Here’s all of the details we have thus far on the Nintendo Black Friday deals and when they will be going live this year:
- November 19 – Sale pricing will kick off on the Nintendo eShop and the My Nintendo Store any time after Nov. 19 “for even more opportunities to load up your Nintendo Switch with holiday deals on select titles!”
- November 24 – Select retailers will have select Nintendo Switch games at $20 off
- November 24 – Select retailers will have $20 off the suggested retail price of Neon Red and Neon Blue Joy-Con controllers
- November 24 – Select retailers will have $20 off the suggested retail price of Nintendo Switch Pro Controller
- November 24 – Select retailers will have $10 off the suggested retail price off the Nintendo Switch Carrying Case & Screen Protector – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition.
Nintendo Black Friday holiday console bundles
Nintendo is once again pointing out this year’s 2024 holiday Switch console bundles that are now live for purchase:
- Nintendo Switch with red/blue Joy-Con $300 (Up to $80 in savings)
- Plus Mario Kart 8 and 12-month Switch Online membership
- Nintendo Switch – OLED Model with white Joy-Con $350 (Up to $80 in savings)
- Plus Mario Kart 8 and 12-month Switch Online membership
FREE in-store events starting on November 16
Nintendo will also be running some in-store events at select Target, Best Buy and GameStop locations. Nintendo is inviting fans to come and play the latest games on Nintendo Switch:
- From Nov. 16 – Nov. 17, participating Target locations will be hosting live demos of Super Mario Party Jamboree!
- Enjoy Best Buy Family Fun Day on Dec. 7 with an opportunity to experience Mario & Luigi: Brothership, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Just Dance 2025.
- On Dec. 14, select GameStop locations will be hosting demos of Mario & Luigi: Brothership, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Just Dance 2025.
