Another popular item set to go on sale for Black Friday very soon is the new AirPods 4. While actual upcoming prices on Apple’s latest AirPods releases have been mostly vague at this point in the Black Friday 2024 ads we have been tracking, we have spotted a deal on the horizon you will at least want to have on your radar if you’re looking to pick up Apple’s most affordable 2024 AirPods release. While we are expecting deals to hit AirPods 4 at just about all major retailers, Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart included, as of right now an advertised deal at Staples is setting the benchmark for this year’s best Black Friday price.
Black Friday AirPods 4 deals – Best upcoming pricing and more
Much like we already did with Apple Watch Series 10 and Nintendo Switch OLED consoles, today we are serving up some details and insight on an upcoming AirPods 4 deal to help shoppers score the lowest possible price and get a good idea of where the Black Friday pricing will land at various retailers.
There tends to be a ton of price matching across the major retailers, so understanding the lowest advertised price on a given item can give folks a good idea of where things will land elsewhere, and at what price to pull the trigger to make a purchase.
More specifically, today we are zeroing-in on the most affordable AirPods 4 without the active noise cancellation. For those unfamiliar, Apple unleashed two different AirPods 4 models this September, one without ANC and one with. They, respectively, carry $129 and $179 list prices, but have been sitting down at $119 and $169 over at Amazon for a couple months now.
Hands-on with AirPods 4: better in every way
We have seen some aggressive price drops courtesy of Woot on both models of the new AirPods 4 this year with a couple opportunities to score the base model set at $114 and the ANC set at $159 – there was also a drop to $109 on the base set at Woot. All of these Woot offers have been very short-lived, lasting a few hours at best each time they have gone live, much like the wild $89 price we featured at BrandsMart, but it lasted only a few minutes if that – stock was likely incredibly low from the jump and, while we can’t know for sure, the retailer was just as likely using this insane price as a ploy to lure shoppers ahead of Black Friday.
The only better price we have seen to date was the trade-in options at Best Buy that netted the all-new AirPods 4 as low as $84 if you flipped out a good condition set of AirPods 3.

All of that said, reports suggest Staples’ latest weekly ad is advertising the base model AirPods 4 without ANC down at $99, this would, outside of the freak BrandsMart deal and the trade offers, be the lowest price we have ever tracked on AirPods 4 since release. It is scheduled to go live on Sunday, November 17 (tomorrow) with a limit of two per customer.
But again, much like the upcoming Apple Watch Series 10 offer we detailed, it is being advertised as an in-store deal and will not be available to online shoppers as far as we can tell.
If you have a Staples near by and you can get in there early enough tomorrow, you might have a chance at scoring a set. We suggest calling your local brick and mortar location today to see if you can get any hints as to whether or not it will have a set and in what sort of quantity. This deal is set to go live from November 17 through November 23 at Staples store locations, but there are no details on stock allocations, both in terms of location/region or if there are a limited number of sets available per day.
What does this mean for folks who don’t have a Staples near by, or those that just don’t want to physically show up in-store? Well, it likely means Amazon, Best Buy, Target, or Walmart, or perhaps all four, will likely price match. This $99 AirPods 4 Black Friday deal at Staples is likely a good indication of where pricing will land at the big four this year and, at the very least, a good idea of the sort of price range you should be looking for.
