We are touching back down to today with another one of our handy Black public service announcements to ensure you have the best-of-the-best upcoming deals on your radar, and this time it’s all about Nintendo. We have already detailed to particularly notable inbound offer on Switch consoles (additional details below on this), but today we are looking at the upcoming Switch game and controller deals that should be on your radar.
Nintendo Pro Controller will hit lowest price in years
Down below we will detail the upcoming physical Switch game deals, but first let’s talk hardware. We already offered up the goods on this weekend’s upcoming Nintendo Switch console deals – we now know the $155 in savings on the OLED model will be live at least via Target and Best Buy come 1 a.m. ET – but there are also some accessories to watch out for:
- Nintendo Switch Pro Controller $50 (Reg. $70)
- Nintendo Neon Red/Neon Blue Joy-Con Controllers $60 (Reg. $80)
While it isn’t crazy to see Joy-Con down in the $60 range, it is quite rare to see them readily available at a price like that – it really doesn’t happen that often at all.
However, seeing the official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller at $50 is very rare. Almost unheard of at this point actually. We haven’t tracked this official Nintendo gamepad down this low in years in fact. If you’re looking to score a fresh new one this Black Friday, the $49.99 price point is expected to go live as early as 1 a.m. ET this Sunday, November 24.
Upcoming Nintendo Switch game Black Friday deals
As we detailed in the official Nintendo Black Friday announcement, the Black Friday eShop sale (or Cyber Week sale as Nintendo like to call it) is already live and everything you need to know about it is right here. However, those are just digital game deals, if you’re looking for the real thing, or rather the boxed copies, these deals are still on the way.
While we have been and will continue to feature some big-time physical Nintendo Switch game deals courtesy of the surprisingly notable Woot sale that has been running for a while now with regular updates, just about every physical game in there is an international version. While these international copies are not region locked and play just fine in a North American Switch, true collectors or those heavy into DLC add-ons might prefer the North America copies of these games and there are going to be some notable first-party titles going on sale this weekend.
This is to say, you might want to hold off buying any Switch games for the next 48 hours or so until the official Black Friday deals on the physical copies go live this Sunday.
Nintendo has already given us a taste of what titles are to come, and we have already brought you the big-time Black Friday ads from retailers like Walmart and Target for a sneak peek, but here are some of the highlights you’ll want on your radar so you don’t miss out on the Sunday start times thinking the Nintendo Black Friday deals actually start on Thanksgiving or Black Friday next week.
All of these deals are scheduled to go live on Sunday, November 24 and will almost certainly drop in price starting at 1 a.m. ET at select retailers, including Best Buy, Target, and elsewhere:
