Amazon is now offering the Breville Smart Oven Pizzaiolo Pizza Oven at $699.95 shipped. Regularly $1,000, you’re looking at one of a handful of times we have seen this model drop down this low. While it has been sitting at the $800 price point on Amazon for the last several months, it did carry the full $1,000 list for the first half of 2024. Today’s deal is $300 below that, $100 under the most recent listings, and matching the best we have tracked on Amazon.
There’s certainly more affordable pizza ovens out there, not unlike this Chefman model at a fraction of the price. But when it comes to proper high-end solutions, the Breville model is not only one of the nicer looking models you’ll actually be able to fit on your countertop, but the price is relatively competitive with today’s deal in hand.
Many of the higher-end pizza ovens you’ll find out there are geared towards outdoor use, and tend to be much more pricey (although you will want to have the Ninja Woodfire model on your radar down at $300). Breville’s keeps the pies hot year round both indoors and out.
Joining its ability to reach temperatures up to 750 degrees, it can deliver “authentic wood-fired style pizzas in just 2 minutes” alongside support for a range of different pizza styles: wood-fired, New York, pan, thin and crispy, and frozen options. The brand says the conductive heating technology in place here is designed to serve up the wonderful charred undercarriage many of us are after at home – a feature it says is “usually only achievable with a traditional brick oven.” More details below.
