We all know by now Apple upgraded its latest M3 MacBook Air lineup with 16GB of RAM on this base model, effectively reducing the price for the elevated memory configs by $200. But there’s still a chance to score the 13-inch model in Space Gray with that 512GB SSD upgrade at an additional $200 off via Amazon and B&H. While much of the holiday pricing on the M3 lineup has jumped back up now, this particular model is still down at $1,099 shipped via both retailers with free shipping. That’s $400 off the original price before the RAM upgrade and $200 under the current $1,299 sticker price.
We did see the base model 16GB/256GB 13-inch option at $899 for a while ahead of Christmas 2024, but that price has now jumped up to over $1,000. That said, I’m starting to feel the 256GB storage options should go the way of the 8GB RAM options and just get nixed for good. The 512GB has always felt like a more future-proofed option, and you likely will too considering how fast internal storage can get filled up these days with apps and your content.
Either way, today’s deal is a solid one at up to $400 off the original price and within $50 of the best we have ever tracked, which were limited-run Black Friday offers last year. There is a good chance we see M4 MacBook Airs land this year, but scoring one of those at $200 off any time soon isn’t likely.
