While there are still some hangover Google holiday deals on many of its latest release for another week or so, Amazon is now offering a massive price drop Google Pixel 8 Pro for folks not bothered with the latest and greatest. You’ll now find the unlocked 128GB Google Pixel 8 Pro on sale for $599 shipped. This model still carries a $999 list price straight from Google – the same price it has regularly fetched at Amazon over the last year. While we have seen several price drops to $649 and $749 over that time frame, but nothing quite as low as the $400 price drop we are tracking today at Amazon.
The Pixel 8 Pro certainly isn’t the latest and greatest handset from the Google camp, but it’s still a more than capable device and one that lands at a price dramatically lower than even the best deals we have seen on the Pixel 9, never mind the pro model (currently on sale for $899 and recently $849 for the holidays).
The Pixel 8 Pro is powered by the Google Tensor G3 chip “custom-designed with Google AI for cutting-edge photo and video features and smarter ways to help.” Alongside 5G connectivity, it features a 6.7-inch Super Actua display that “adjusts between 1 and 120Hz for responsive performance” joined by four “pro-level” cameras.
