CES 2025 Awards
CES

CES 2025 is in its final throws, so we thought we would touch down to celebrate our personal favorite reveals from Las Vegas this year. We have already rounded up a massive list of the coolest new gear from the show, but this is our very favorite, our very own CES best of awards if you will. There has been some sweet new reveals outside of CES this week, including the new Midnight collection PlayStation 5 accessories as well as an epic new official LEGO Game Boy set, but for now we are focused on our favorite gear that was showcase at CES 2025.

NVIDIA RTX 50-series GPUs

NVIDIA made a huge splash at CES this year with the latest generation of graphics cards for high-end gaming PCs. The brand unveiled its RTX 50 series GPUs with much fanfare, debuting four new graphics cards. The flagship model, the RTX 5090, is set to launch on January 30th at a price of $1,999. This powerful GPU boasts 32GB of GDDR7 memory and promises to double frame rates in games like Cyberpunk 2077 compared to its predecessor. However, if the $1,999 price tag of the RTX 5090 is out of reach, NVIDIA promises significant performance boosts further down the lineup with the RTX 5070. Priced at $549, this GPU is said to rival the general performance of the previous generation’s flagship at a fraction of the price. I’m particularly eyeing the RTX 5070 for my rig, but you can consider the RTX 5080 or the RTX 5070 Ti, both of which are highlighted in detail in our launch coverage right here.

Roborock robot cleaner with robotic arm

Not all robotic vacuums are made equal – some are ultra powerful, some have onboard mopping tech, some have self-cleaning stations, and some have a robotic arm that can pick up your socks for you.

Roborock debuted an eye-catching new robotic cleaner that actual a retractable arm that extends from its base with the ability to tidy up objects off the floor and even put them away for you….wild.

I’m still skeptical of how well the first edition of this implementation will actually work, but it is certainly going tog et better over time with firmware upgrades and might very well be sign of what’s to come across the robotic cleaning industry – a vertical that is actually pretty good at iterative tech that just gets batter and smarter as the years past.

Segway’s Xyber and Xafari e-bikes

First teased at CES 2024, Segway officially ripped off the veil and rolled out the red carpet for CES 2025 by launching preorders on its first e-bikes, the Xyber and Xafari. Starting off with the Xyber e-bike, Segway has designated it as an unclassified model designed for maximum performance so its not street or trail legal, though there will be a class 2 model that does comply to laws introduced later in the year. This baby has serious pickup power as the 175Nm, 6,000W direct-drive motor and the 2,880Wh dual-battery setup hit 0 to 20 MPH in just 2.7 seconds, with a max speed of 35 MPH and a travel range of 112 miles. The Xafari e-bike, on the other hand, has a more humble 80Nm motor that maxes out at 750W of power with a removable 936Wh battery that still provides an impressive 88 miles of travel for every 6 hours charged.

There are even more differences between the bikes, which you can learn about in our preorder launch coverage here, but at the heart of both designs sit Segway’s Intelligent Ride System. They sport Apple Find My capabilities, as well as GPS dual-component tracking, which pairs with the brand’s IOT (Internet of Things) for remote monitoring, control through the app, over-the-air updates, and cloud binding on the bikes and batteries to prevent unwanted use of the EVs or removal of their power sources. This gets taken a step further with the airlock wireless proximity security that locks the system for unauthorized users when you walk away. And that’s only half of what this system offers!

Preorders are officially open on these two new models, with the Xyber launching at $2,999.99 shipped while the Xafari sits a little lower at $2,399.99 shipped. Until February 2, you can get $200 off their price tags when preordering either of these e-bikes, just use the promo code EBIKE200 at checkout.

Lenovo Legion Go S handheld

Lenovo managed to spark some excitement in the gaming community by debuting the new Legion Go S, which is the first authorized third-party handheld with the SteamOS. Value’s Steam Deck operating system itself would’ve made it an easy pick-up for many, but Lenovo ended up making it even better by keeping the price considerably low by ditching some features. The result is a handheld that appears to get the basics right at a very palatable price point. I’m super excited for this to land on the market at $499 to see how things play out for handhelds running SteamOS. If you don’t mind using Windows on a handheld, then Lenovo also has a Windows variant that is now up for pre-order at $729.99 shipped at Best Buy. This one packs a bit more punch with the AMD Ryzen Z2 Go, 32GB RAM, and 1TB storage as well.

Satechi Stand & Hub for M4 Mac mini

While CES is, in many ways, more about big picture tech, smart TVs, and this year, loads of AI, Satechi did unleash what i recon will be the best new accessory for of the most popular new Apple releases of last year, the M4 Mac mini. It has certainly been among the most popular releases from Cupertino around these here parts, and the new Stand & Hub with an onboard SSD enclosure is easily one of the more feature-compelling pieces of kit you can add to one.

It looks like Apple might have made, sitting beneath you mini Mac as though it had always been there and expanding your machine’s capabilities with a slew of I/O potential alongside a built-in SD card reader. It launches next month and you can get a complete look at the specs right here

I was hoping to get a look at the Anker 9,600mAh Prime Power Bank and the Anker 250W Prime GaN Prime Charging Station for review if possible. But anything from the lineup will work – it has been quite popular for us.

All-new Anker chargers with displays

Not all of the reveals at CES have to come wild, out there prototype or something that only gives us a glimpse into the future. Some of them can actually be useful gadgets that are ready for the market right now and that exactly what the impressive-looking new chargers from Anker bring to the table.

The brand unleashed a new 25,000mAh power bank and a 140W wall charger, both with onboard displays that monitor power distribution, temperature, and charging action, and look great doing it.

They are also now available for purchase, unlike most of what we see at CES with long wait times, and with solid launch deals to boot.

World’s first heating and cooling gaming chair

Like clockwork, Razer showed up at CES with yet another concept, except this time it looks more like a finished product that many would actually buy. Its new Project Arielle is a concept mesh chair that cools you down or can blast some hot air on demand. It comes with a bladeless adjustable fan with three speeds to reduce the perceived temperature. Alternatively, you can also use the chair’s built-in PTC heating system and get warm air at 30 degrees Celsius. It features a touch panel for controlling the fan speed and the temperature, and it also has RGB lights because why not?

Baseus PrimeTrip VR2 Max

Cables are a mess sometimes. This is why I usually opt for retractable cords whenever I can. At my desk right now I have a retractable 240W USB-C cable that I use to quickly top off my Keychron K5 Pro mechanical keyboard and M6 mouse. I also rely on this power bank from Baseus with a retractable USB-C cable whenever I spend a night away from home.

Bearing all that in mind, it’s no shock that the new Baseus PrimeTrip Retractable Car Charger lineup grabbed my attention. Four models are slated to hit the market in April: 30W, 60W, 100W, and 240W. The base model has a single Type-C cable, while the other three have two. The most powerful solution delivers distributes up to 105W of power to each retractable cable and still has two ports left. I like them all, but the 240W VR2 Max is my favorite. Once it becomes available, it will be priced at $44.99. You can learn more about Baseus’ CES announcements in our coverage right here.

Pawport’s 2nd-gen Smart Pet Door

As someone who has had my life blessed with many different animal companions, especially dogs, I am absolutely in love with Pawport’s latest edition of its Smart Pet Door – this one coming with an abundance of 13 finishes across three series (with three sizes for each) – standard, designer, and signature – which all come designed to fit over most exiting pet doors you may already have in place, or you can start from scratch. Aside from the remote smart controls that include operations and schedules, they primarily function by connecting to a lightweight, waterproof smart collar tag that activates the doors to open when your pet is nearby and in motion.

The two-door steel and composite plastic system can withstand weather while also ensuring only your pets can come and go through them, keeping access denied to local wildlife. On top of this, there are plenty of security features to make sure the doors never close on your pets either, as well as multiple power options, accessories, LED light customization, and more. The standard model provides the basic durable build, with the designer and signature series ramping up security with steel and air-craft grade aluminum doors, complete with scratch-resistant materials across a wide array of aesthetic choices. Be sure to check out the full rundown on specs and features in our original coverage here.
