Rad Power’s Presidents’ Day flash sale has ended, with some major price changeups happening in result that are running through February 26 while others are going for as long as supplies last – like the RadRunner Plus Utility e-bike dropping to another all-time low at $1,299 shipped, for example. Right alongside it is the RadRunner 2 Utility e-bike falling to $999 shipped from its usual $1,499 price tag. We saw it fall as low as $1,199 in pre-tariff sales before summer 2024 and a few recently short-term flash sales, with the rest of the discounts we’ve spotted mainly keeping things to $1,299. Today’s deal is quite the upset as it falls lower than we’ve ever seen it go, saving you $500 at a new all-time low price.
Dubbed the “jack-of-all-trades” model by Rad Power, the RadRunner 2 Utility e-bike is a well-rounded option for folks wanting more versatility for commuting, errands, and even hauling passengers alongside cargo. The 672Wh battery provides you with up to 45+ miles of traveling assistance with its four PAS levels (plus there’s a bonus zero assist level) while the 750W brushless-geared hub motor tops out at 20 MPH speeds. There is a throttle available for pure electric riding, but keep in mind this will drop its travel distance down around 25+ miles. It comes stocked with a rear-mounted cargo rack with a 120-pound payload, as well as puncture-resistant fat tires, a standard LED headlight, and an integrated taillight with brake light and flash mode functionalities.
If you want a more advanced upgraded Utility model, Rad’s RadRunner Plus definitely steps up the game, offering the same performance (20 MPH for up to 45+ miles) but with five levels of PAS (also with an additional zero assist level). The upgraded stocked features here include an integrated rear cargo rack with a padded seat, Kenda K-Rad 20-inch tires with fenders over each, an LED Headlight that can be set to automatically turn on in lower light settings, and a backlit LCD display with a USB port to charge your devices. That’s not all though, as there’s also the Tektro Aries mechanical disc brakes, an integrated taillight with brake lighting and a flash mode, a 7-speed Shimano derailleur, and a half-twist throttle.
