Apple Pencil (USB-C) is the most affordable model in the lineup, now down at $69

Reg. $79 $69

Just after seeing the new 25W Apple MagSafe charger for iPhone 16 receive its first Amazon price drops, we are now turning our attention to Cupertino’s iPad accessories as the Apple Pencil (USB-C) is now back at $69 shipped. Regularly $79, this deal is on par with the best we have tracked on new condition USB-C listings via Amazon – the only time it has gone for less was in refurbished and open-box condition. While it is about time we see this model drop even lower, the $69 is worth noting as it is the lowest point of entry into the current-generation Apple Pencil lineup – even the 1st-gen model is selling at a discounted $74.

Apple’s USB-C model on sale here today is not only its most affordable, but also its most versatile. It is designed to work with any iPad that has a USB-C port. It doesn’t include the fancy magnetic action and bells and whistles of the new Apple Pencil Pro that is only designed to work properly with the M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air, but it does work with those machines and every other Type-C tablet in Apple’s stable with tilt sensitivity and the ability to be magnetically attached to your machine.

Here’s a quick peek at how discount pricing works out across the Apple Pencil lineup right now:

Apple Pencil (USB-C) features:

  • Pairs and charges via USB-C
  • Attaches magnetically
  • Pixel-perfect precision with low latency and tilt sensitity
  • Requires an iPad with PadOS 17.1 or later
  • Compatible with iPad Pro 13” (M4), iPad Pro 11” (M4), iPad Air 13” (M2), iPad Air 11” (M2), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th generation); iPad Pro 11-inch (1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th generation), iPad (10th generation), iPad Air (4th, and 5th generation), iPad mini (6th generation)
