As detailed in our launch coverage, the new Qi2 Trio Wireless Charging Pad delivers everything the brand is known for best – premium metal builds, the fastest industry-standard charging speeds, and this time with a slightly more luxurious vegan leather wrapping on the top surface.
Just as the name suggests, this new charging sports a 3-in-1 setup, complete with a Qi2 certified magnetic stand for your iPhone that delivers 15W of juice lined up beside the 5W Qi pad for your AirPads, and next to that, a 5W magnetic charger for your Apple Watch.
One interesting aspect of this model is the foldable 2-in-1 action here – all of these charging pads can lay completely flat for easier transportation but can transform into a heads-up, pop-out stand for the desktop. Many of these foldable models we have seen are more like travel chargers that also happen to fold up, this one seems very much like a proper desktop charger than happens to fold down when needed.
