Keep an eye on our Black Friday 2024 hub to stay updated on the best deals and avoid impulse purchases. Samsung Odyssey lineup
Samsung’s Odyssey monitor lineup has a good mixture of options offering models with cutting-edge technology and immersive experiences, along with some relatively cheaper alternatives for those who don’t need all the bells and whistles. But one thing which is common among all the Odyssey monitors is the robust set of features that include things high refresh rates, low response times, and stunning display quality.
As Black Friday approaches, we anticipate exciting deals on the Samsung Odyssey series. Keep an eye out for discounts on popular models like the Odyssey Neo G7 and Odyssey G9. We saw the Neo G7 dropping down to the $500 mark for the first time in September, which is an excellent price of that unit with a 43-inch 144Hz 4K panel. It’s currently fetching $700 on Amazon, which is still a solid price for what it brings to the table.
As for the Odyssey Neo G9, we’re expecting the frequently discounted 57-inch Neo G9 to see either a fresh low or at its previous low of $1,500 once again this Black Friday. We also expect Samsung to toss in the FREE Odyssey G3 FHD 180Hz monitor with it, just like it’s currently giving one away with the new Odyssey OLED G8 4K 240Hz monitor at that’s down at $999.99 shipped.
Here’s a quick look at the lowest prices we’ve tracked on some of our favorite Odyssey gaming monitors over the last few months leading up to Black Friday to give you a very good indication of where things will land.
- Samsung 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 4k 240Hz monitor $948 (Reg. $1,300)
- Now comes with FREE G3 180Hz FHD monitor
- Samsung 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 dual 4K UHD monitor $1,500 (Reg. $2,500)
- Samsung 43-inch Odyssey Neo G7 4K 144Hz monitor $500 (Reg. $1,000)

Alienware monitors
Black Friday is one of the best times to score some huge discounts on Alienware gaming monitors, and we expect this year’s offers to be no different. The brand has a bunch of displays in its lineup that stand as a top choice for gamers seeking high-performance monitors, and pretty much all of them boast sleek designs, rapid refresh rates, and stunning visuals. From budget-friendly options to premium, high-end displays, Alienware offers something for every gamer.
As Black Friday rolls around, we anticipate exciting deals on popular models like the AW3423DWF, a 34-inch curved QD-OLED model, or the high-refresh-rate AW2724HF. We saw the wildly popular 34-inch AW3423DWF model at its lowest price last month at $612, but we expect it to drop once again from its usual going rate of $900, considering Dell already has some great offers as a part of its early Black Friday sale. We’re also expecting the AW2724HF 27-inch 360Hz FHD gaming monitor to once again land at its lowest price of $300, along with more we’re highlighting below to give you an idea of the kinds of deals you can expect.
- Alienware AW3423DWF 34-inch QD-OLED WQHD monitor $612 (Reg. $900)
- Alienware AW2724HF 27-inch FHD Fast IPS 360Hz monitor $300 (Reg. $380)
- Alienware AW2724DM 27-inch QHD 180Hz monitor $250 (Reg. $380)

LG UltraGear curved monitors
LG’s UltraGear series also has some solid options if you’re looking for alternatives to the Odyssey and Alienware models in the mid to high-end segment. This lineup offers a range of monitors to cater to both competitive gamers and casual enthusiasts, and they deliver cutting-edge features like a high-refresh panel, low response times, and more, along with stunning visuals.
LG’s UltraGear series is definitely worth keeping in your radar and we are expecting to see discounts on popular models like the UltraGear 34GS95QE, a 34-inch WQHD monitor with an OLED panel. This monitor delivers stunning picture quality, vibrant colors, and smooth, tear-free gameplay. We’ve seen it drop all the way down to the $600 mark, and there’s a good chance we might see it return it back to its lowest price come Black Friday.
We’re also expecting the UltraGear 39GS95QE model to see a solid discount, albeit not as massive as the 52% drop we recently tracked. It’s among the best 39-inch 240Hz OLED curved gaming monitors out there, and would definitely be a great pick for under $800. We’re once again highlighting some good options along with their previous lows to keep an eye on.
- LG UltraGear 39GS95QE 39-inch WQHD 240Hz monitor $720 (Reg. $1,497)
- LG UltraGear 34GS95QE 34-inch WQHD 240Hz monitor $600 (Reg. $1,300)
- LG UltraGear 45GS95QE 45-inch WQHD 240Hz monitor $920 (Reg. $1,700)
- And even more…
