The official details on the 2024 PlayStation Black Friday deals are now finally here folks! While Nintendo and Xbox have already shown their hands, Sony has now finally taken to the official PlayStation Blog to detail its 2024 Black Friday deals. Everything will be kicking of this week across all major retailers, the official PlayStation Store, direct.playstation.com, and the PlayStation Gear store. Head below for a closer look at this year’s 2024 PlayStation Black Friday deals.
When do the PlayStation Black Friday deals start?
This year the official PlayStation Black Friday deals start on November 22 and will run through until Cyber Monday on December 2…but we already some deals will be live before that.
Sony has now launched its official PlayStation Black Friday site, where deals and details will begin on November 22 “on local offers, as offers will vary by region and retailer.”
PlayStation 5, DualSense, and PS VR2, and more Black Friday deals
Sony will be officially offering a host of deals this year on the PS5 console – Fortnite Cobalt Star Bundle, PlayStation VR2, DualSense wireless controllers at 25% off, the Pulse Elite wireless headsets, Pulse Explore wireless earbuds, PS5 console covers, and a series of PS5, PS4, and PC titles directly on the direct.playstation.com store, but you can bet just about everything will be available at major retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and elsewhere.
Where to find PlayStation Black Friday deals this year
As mentioned above, alongside the direct PlayStation store, Sony is specifically stating that “participating retailers” will also be offering deals on “PS5 consoles, PlayStation VR2, games, and PS5 accessories including DualSense wireless controllers, Pulse Elite wireless headset, Pulse Explore wireless earbuds.”
The deal on the PS5 console – Fortnite Cobalt Star Bundle is already scheduled to be starting this week as well – we already know it will be live at Target come November 22 from $374.99, among other retailers.
PlayStation Plus Black Friday 2024 deals
Sony says that those joining PlayStation Plus during the Black Friday promotion will save up to 30% on a 12-month membership, while PlayStation Plus Essential members will save 25% on the “remainder of their membership when upgrading a current plan to PlayStation Plus Extra,” or as much as 30% when upgrading from PlayStation Plus Extra to PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe.
PlayStation Gear Black Friday sale
The PlayStation Gear store will be offering up to 40% off select merch including apparel, drinkware, and more “from fan-favorite titles like The Last of Us Part II, Horizon Forbidden West, and God of War Ragnarök – no promo code necessary. Head over to gear.playstation.com for more details.”
PlayStation Black Friday 2024 game deals
Ummmm…Sony? Where’s the mention of the actual game deals? In today’s official PlayStation Black Friday announcement there is one major omission – the games. Outside of a very brief mention of “a range of amazing offers on games” and that participating retailers will indeed have PS5 game deals on sale, there have been no details mentioned here.
You can guarantee there will be a massive Black Friday digital game sale going live on the PlayStation Store this week and it appears as though that will be on November 22 (but we aren’t sure just yet). We will update this post when more official details arrive.
