Yesterday we tipped 9to5 readers off to an upcoming all-time low on the new AirPods 4 with ANC for Sam’s Club members, but Amazon has now stepped in to match that deal for everyone. You can now score Apple’s AirPods 4 with ANC down at $139 shipped – that’s $50 off the regular $179 sticker price and a new Amazon all-time low. Alongside the now live, online-only Sam’s Club offer, this is the lowest price we have tracked on the new buds since release in September.
Today’s new all-time low on the ANC is unfortunately not carrying over to the base model AirPods 4 without the active noise cancellation – they are still sitting at $119 shipped, but we will keep an eye out for a further price drop here.
During the Black Friday festivities, Amazon had the higher-end AirPods Pro 2 down at wild $154, which made the $165 deal on AirPods 4 with ANC a tough proposition for all but folks who were specifically looking to give the new form-factor a go. But now, with the AirPods Pro 2 back up at $170 (down from the regular $249 list price) and the AirPods 4 with ANC undercutting the lowest price we have ever tracked on the Pro 2 set, Apple’s latest and most affordable pair of earbuds with active noise cancellation just got all the more enticing.
AirPods 4, as we have detailed previously, first landed alongside iPhone 16 in September with a redesigned form-factor for “all-day comfort” with a “refined contour, shorter stem, and quick-press controls for music or calls.” With the Apple H2 chip at the heart of the operation here, you’ll find much of the standout features from the pro set carrying over, including the Siri hands- and voice-free interactions alongside Voice Isolation – “reduces background noise while isolating and clarifying the sound of your voice for whomever you’re speaking to” – and Personalized Spatial Audio tech with dynamic head tracking.
They also feature a resigned charging case Apple says is the “smallest in the industry with wireless charging” – it can be juiced back up with an Apple Watch Charger, USB-C Charge Cable, or Qi-certified charger – alongside yup to 20 hours of listening time (30 hours without ANC engaged).
