Spotify reboots its popular 3-month $0.99 Premium plan for new subscribers

There’s no other way to slice it — streaming services are the future of music. The days of walking into a CD store (remember Sam Goody?) are long gone and most people don’t even bother with iTunes downloads anymore. And as of right now, Spotify is running away with the streaming music crown.

It’ll usually cost you $9.99 per month to have access to Spotify’s full set of features, but for a limited time new subscribers can jump on the streaming bandwagon for just $0.99…

Less than $1 will get you 3-months of everything Spotify has to offer: more than 20 million songs, offline playback, ad-free listening, and high-definition quality. After the promo period your rate will jump back $9.99 per month. Spotify ran this same promo last December, but ended it shortly after the new year hit. This is the first time we’ve seen this deal available since that time.

Again, only new subscribers (or anyone with a fresh email) can take advantage of this special pricing.

If you’re in streaming limbo right now, this promo should hold you over until the Apple/Beats supposed streaming service announcement. At that point you can decide which service is right for you. Maybe even give Tidal a look — you know, the service JAY Z claims is doing well despite its lackluster re-launch.
