LEGO and Star Wars come together once again in this gorgeous new photography book

From traditional AT-AT and Death Star building kits, to the wealth of high quality video games out there, LEGO and Star Wars certainly aren’t strangers. And while we already have a few hardcover LEGO-Star Wars collaborations in the form of character encyclopedias and the Visual Dictionary, Photographer Vesa Lehtimaki is readying a new kind of plastic block Jedi book known as LEGO Star Wars: Small Scenes from a Big Galaxy:

The hardcover photography book contains “painstaking recreations” of famous Star Wars moments captured using LEGO blocks. Making use of his son’s favorite toys, Lehtimaki has put together what looks to be a gorgeous package with interesting captions and insight into his creative process. While it won’t show you how to build the scenes like the LEGO Architect book we recently covered, there is definitely a ton of care and attention to detail as you can see in the images above and below.

LEGO Star Wars: Small Scenes from a Big Galaxy is set to release on November 10th at a suggested retail price of $24.99. But you can pre-order it on Amazon right now for $12.37 with free shipping for Prime members or on orders over $35.

If game/culture related books are your thing, be sure to hit up this morning’s game roundup for deep discounts on the official Fallout 4 game guide, The Art of Fallout 4 hardcover and the Minecraft: Blockopedia.
