These new Donkey Kong, Zelda and 8-bit Mario Bros-themed amiibo stands are some of the best we have seen

PDP makes its fair share of officially licensed Nintendo devices and gear from Wii U fight Pads to charging systems and even amiibo accessories. Its Mario Pipe amiibo stand is certainly one of the coolest ways to display your iconic plastic figures, and now the company has teamed up with Nintendo once again to launch 3 more options:

We are getting a new retro Donkey Kong themed stand, along with a Zelda model and an 8-bit Bowser’s Castle display. The Donkey Kong option stands over 12-inches tall and, unlike the other two options, can house up to 9 amiibo. Obviously taking inspiration from the original arcade Donkey Kong games, the stand is based on the DK level in Smash Bros. for Wii U. It can also be rearranged and stacked however you like, as each level appears to be separate.

The most expensive of the three, this one goes for $19.99 and is already up for pre-order on Amazon. All three new models have a July 28th release date.

Next up is the Zelda Master Sword display. This one only carries a single amiibo, but it does it in seriously epic fashion. This silver base is adorned by the Triforce logo and the that master sword in the back doubles as usable stylus. You’ll also hear some music when removing it from the base. Also now up for pre-order, this one goes for $14.99.

The Spinning Fire display is a chunk right out of Bowser’s 8-bit castle. Packed with a wind-up motor, the fire bar spins just like it did in the original games. This one only carries a single amiibo as well and goes for $14.99.

These might be some of the best amiibo stands we have seen yet, but the POWER A End Level display definitely deserves a mention here as another multi-figure option.

Speaking of amiibo, we are starting to see the latest characters (Waluigi, Boo, more) go up for pre-order on Amazon and Best Buy. Prime members can grab them at 20% off ($10.39 shipped or so), much the same way GCU members can. You’ll find even more game deals in the daily roundups.
