Anker has been busy lately. Not only does it offer some some of the best value out there for its massive lineup of Apple accessories and more, but it has also expanded itself a few times. The company has gracefully stepped into our homes with the Eufy moniker and now with its new smart audio brand, Zolo. The Zolo Liberty+ truly wireless earbuds are on deck first with a Kickstarter campaign that has just launched…

While Apple’s AirPods are still hard to come by and don’t necessarily go over well with some users, we have already seen a plethora of options hit the market when it comes to a truly wireless listening experience. We have already put loads of options to the test from Bragi, Jabra and Rowkin to Motorola and Samsung. At the time the IconX earbuds were some of the next best options out there, but it looks like Anker and Solo are set to give them a run for their money.

The Liberty+ earphones are being billed as a no-compromise totally-wireless experience. The company claims things like battery life, sound quality and even price have plagued the market, until now that is.

Along with what Zolo refers to as a virtually un-breakable Bluetooth 5.0 connection and instant pairing with both iOS and Android, Liberty+ packs some serious battery life. You can apparently expect an unrivaled 48 hours of playback when paired with the portable battery charging case. Without the case, the buds bring about 3.5 hours of playback.

Incubating with Anker, the world leaders in portable power, gives us exclusive access to some of the world’s most advanced battery technology.

Liberty+ integrates their leading Li-ion cells and power management systems to boost playtime to around 6 or 7 complete music albums. The included charging case pushes playtime to an astounding 48 hours.

On top of that, they can be very good friends with Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant. Simply tap Liberty+ and ask for the weather, music streaming services, traffic and, well everything else you use those lovely ladies for.

They use a Graphene driver for what Zolo claims is a much superior sound quality over something like Apple’s AirPods. They have a 20Hz – 20KHz frequency response rating, but that sounds a little overly confident to me, as well as a water-proof coating for workouts, MicroUSB charging and more.

We can also expect to see the new earbuds slightly undercut Apple, Jabra and Samsung with a $149.99 MSRP. However, super early bird Kickstarter backers will be able to secure a set for just $89 (2,000 pairs available) or $99 (5,000 pairs available) if you’re quick. They will ship anywhere in the world by October of this year, according to Zolo.
