Mikme is a truly wireless microphone that has studio quality recording abilities

There’s typically just one problem we all have when we go to shoot video or make audio recordings — all the cords it takes to connect everything together, specifically the audio. Now, there’s a wireless microphone that makes recording professional-quality audio a snap. It’s called Mikme and while it’s very convenient, it does come at a price.

The Mikme can stream directly to your phone or computer with just the press of a button. You can even sync it to video you’re recording and have the sound match the resolution of 4K video. With 16GB of internal storage, you can run it for over three hours on a single charge. It also has grooves at the bottom for easy tripod mounting.

Mikme has a 1-inch gold-plated cardioid condenser capsule and can capture audio for up to 360 hours. You can use it to save the recording on the internal 16GB flash drive and then stream it via Bluetooth to other devices.

It comes with a free app that you can use to mix, edit, add effects then easily share your recordings on social media. It records MP4 and WAV files and with Bluetooth you can stream your audio easily to your smartphone or tablet. It has a micro-USB connector that works with both Mac and PC and also works to charge the device. There’s also and audio output you can use to attach headphones or as an out to attach a DSLR or mixer.

You can use the Mikme’s iOS app to record video with your iPhone’s camera while the Mikme records the accompanying audio, and the Mikme app will sew the two streams together automatically after you’re done shooting.

We’ve built the first fully Wireless Microphone & Audio Recorder that captures sound at the push of a single button. Equipped with a 1” gold-plated condenser capsule and a 16 GB memory, Mikme delivers studio-grade audio. At the same time, it syncs up the recordings via Bluetooth with its free Mikme Creator App for mixing, editing and sharing right away.

With Mikme, just tap the top of it to start recording, then you can send your audio via Bluetooth to the Mikme mobile app. From there you can edit, tweak, adjust the audio, and share it.

With Mikme there’s “no cables, no interface, no confusion.” Mikme is made for all who make recordings from musicians, journalists and filmmakers alike. It’s the first fully wireless microphone and audio recorder that works so easily at the press of a button. Mikme is available now at B&H for $499.
