eBikes are becoming all the rage lately. I recently got one and it’s actually fantastic. Though I don’t live in a thick suburban area, it’s really nice to use when I have to run to the mailbox down the street or even a quick store run. Normally, though, eBikes are quite expensive (for a bike) and lack in a few areas. Nireeka is a newcomer to the eBike space starting at $799 with some killer features.
With a carbon fiber frame, this bike is super light. Carbon fiber is a super light, super strong substance that many high-end muscle cars employ.
There’s a built-in light on the front and back of the bike that are hooked into the battery system so you’ll never have to worry about riding at night again.
With the front and rear disk brakes, you’ll easily be able to stop without fail every time, and there are no pads to change. The battery is internal, so you don’t have to worry about getting water or anything on it while riding.
The shocks built into Nireeka make the ride smooth and comfortable. Those things are all pretty common on a regular bike, but now it’s time to get down to what makes Nireeka unique.
This smart eBike has several super awesome features. With up to a 500W motor included, and the ability to upgrade any motor to a 1000W version, there’s plenty of power to go around.
The best part of Nireeka, in my opinion, is the smart aspect of it. As you’re riding, if you have a watch and phone compatible with the app (most are), the bike can actually monitor your heart rate through your watch and change the amount of assist you’ll receive base on how fast your heart is beating.
So, if you’re not really pushing yourself very hard, then Nireeka will not give you much assistance as you’re riding. But, if your heart is beating super fast and hard, then Nireeka will take that as a sign you need some help and kick the motor in to assist with some of the work.
That’s only a taste of what Nireeka can do when it comes to smart abilities. There’s many more options and information on Nireeka over at the Indiegogo page.
With prices starting at $799 for a 250W motor, a top speed of 15MPH, and a range of 35 miles, Nireeka is quite affordable when it comes to eBikes. If you’d like, there is a spec up to a 500W motor, 22MPH speed, and 50 mile range for $999. An additional $99 will upgrade you to that 1000W motor for even faster speeds if you need.
Delivery is currently slated for July 2018, and if you’d rather just reserve a spot to buy Nireeka at the discounted crowd-funding price, then there is an option for that too. For just $199, you’ll be able to say “I want Nireeka, but I’d rather not plop down close to $1,000 just yet.”
