eBikes are awesome. I recently got one and love riding it. Having an electric motor on your bike can really help, whether you’ve worn yourself out or just need a little extra help getting up a hill, that motor and battery are irreplaceable. One thing about most eBikes, however, is that they generally don’t come with large motors or big batteries.
Most motors are between 250-500-Watts, which is good enough for most people, but those who like to go off-roading (in mud, snow, etc.) need a bit more power. That’s where the Ridge Warrior comes in. With a powerful 1000-Watt motor, up to 29 miles of range without pedaling, and a top speed of 30 MPH, this eBike is set to be the king of the road (and dirt).
The Ridge Warrior RB1000 is one monster of an eBike. Normal eBikes are designed for city riding, or maybe a little off-roading, but the Ridge Warrior is meant to go over just about any terrain. With 26-inch by 4-inch tires, you easily traverse anything in your path.
The brakes are both hydraulic so you shouldn’t have any problems stopping and there is a 3-speed gear system to give you flexibility when pedaling. The battery is a 48V 13Ah Panasonic-powered core, which gives you up to 29-miles of range without pedaling at all. If used in assist mode, you could easily go much further, though exact specs there are not provided.
You get a built-in display that features speed, average speed, trip distance, and remaining battery power. You’ll easily be able to know all needed information about the bike with just a glance.
Another aspect that puts the Ridge Warrior a step above the average eBike is its weight limit. Most eBikes are stuck with a maximum weight at right around 200-250-lbs. which means you can’t haul gear if you’re already close to that weight. The Ridge Warrior has a full riding weight of 300-lbs., which means you can carry all of the gear you’ll need for a fun day at the beach or an awesome hiking adventure.
Ridge Warrior claims that it has the “best electric fat bike on the market at the most affordable price point possible.” Though this eBike carries a price tag of $4,600, which is quite expensive when it comes to eBikes, it offers quite a bit more than the average one you’d pick up.
If you’re in the market for a high-end eBike that will be able to handle anything you throw at it, this is a fantastic option for you.
