Crash Bandicoot is a game I remember from my childhood. Playing it always brought me so much joy, and just hearing the tunes brings back memories of a time gone by. But enough reminiscing, Crash is back and is coming sooner than expected. If you’re a fan of running through jungles with your trusty Tiki head following, then you’ll really enjoy the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, launching a nearly 2 weeks earlier than originally expected.
Initially slated for as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, gamers and end-users alike were able to eventually persuade Activation into bringing the title to PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The N. Sane Trilogy includes three games: Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot Warped. These are the original games that I fell in love with so many years ago and will be an instant-buy on release for me (maybe even a pre-order through Amazon).
The original Crash Bandicoot is what started it all, and you’ll battle Dr. Neo Cortex who’s plan is to take over the world and create genetically engineered animals to do his will. Cortex will kidnap as many animals as possible, and Crash Bandicoot’s girlfriend just so happens to fall victim to his evil plot.
You’ll control Crash as he runs, spins, and jumps through 30 levels of action on different Australian islands. You’ll help Crash save not only the animals captured by Dr. Neo Cortex but his beloved girlfriend as well.
In the second episode of this fantastic series, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes back, Dr. Neo Cortex returns, but in a different way (so it seems). This time around, Cortex is asking Crash to help him save the world, but will that be all he wants? You’ll have to play and find out yourself, this time in a free-roaming 3D environment with new animation and characters.
You’ll ice skate, rodeo-ride a polar bear, and fly with jetpacks through zero-gravity in this all-out new adventure.

In the final installment in the series, Crash Bandicoot Warped, you’ll enter an entirely new time-traveling adventure. This is a new style of gameplay where you’ll scuba dive, ride motorcycles, interact with dinosaurs, and more. You can even go free-roaming in an airplane!
You’ll play as Coco, get to gallop along the Great Wall of China on a tiger, and many more extreme activities. There are new challenges in this method that are unlike anything of the previous two games, and it’s bound to be loads of fun.
The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is available now for $29.99 on PS4, and for $39.99 on Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch with a release date of June 29th (originally July 10th).
