With a plethora of new smartphones on the market, Black Friday will be one of the best chance to bring home the latest and greatest device. AT&T, being one of the biggest wireless carries, will be getting in on the savings and discounting a variety of their devices as well as offering service plan promotions. Head below for a rundown on how to best be prepared for this year’s AT&T Black Friday event.
When is Black Friday at AT&T?
The Black Friday festivities officially kick off on November 23rd, 2018. Most of AT&T’s retail stores will open at 9AM, although your local location may have different hours. And if the past few years are any indication, online sales will begin rolling out on Thanksgiving Day.
Free shipping at AT&T
AT&T offers free standard shipping on all of its items. Select devices like smartphones as well as accessories will receive free express shipping, getting you your purchases as early as the next day.
Will AT&T be open on Thanksgiving?
No. AT&T’s retail stores will be closed on Thanksgiving, similarly to years past. It’s likely that AT&T will begin offering online deals on the Thanksgiving day though, ahead of its in-store offerings on Friday.
Score Black Friday Savings at AT&T
In the past we’ve seen a variety of different discounts during AT&T’s Black Friday sale, so there isn’t just one way to lock in the savings. AT&T offers upgrade promotions for those with existing plans as well other incentives for those looking to switch carriers or open new lines.
Will AT&T have Doorbusters for Black Friday?
No. In past years AT&T has opted to forego doorbusters and that trend is expected to continue into 2018’s Black Friday sale.
Does AT&T offer price matching during Black Friday?
No. AT&T doesn’t usually offer price matching and the same will be true for Black Friday.
What will be on sale at AT&T on Black Friday?
Phones. Given that they are a cellular company, expect to see a variety of discounted smartphones including this year’s latest. Buy one get one promotions, direct discounts and other deals are likely on iPhone XS/R/Max, the new Pixel 3 and other devices.
Last year the company focused many of its discounts on bundling DirectTV plans with their typical phone contracts. Odds are we’ll see at least some of the same promotions this year, discounting Apple TV and other streaming devices to entice shoppers.
