If you watched Apple’s event yesterday, you are likely drooling over the new iPad Pros just as much I am. With streamlined bezels, a switch from Touch to Face ID, lack of a physical home button, and ditching Lightning for USB-C, Apple’s latest iPad Pros offer an entirely new form factor. To accommodate these changes, well-known tech-accessory manufacturer Moshi is in the process of crafting updated gear for the new tablets.
Those of us who own Apple products are well aware that the accessories market for them is highly competitive. While popular Android devices like Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and Google’s Pixel phones tend to receive a fair amount of variety, third-parties are inclined to make developing gear for Apple products a much higher priority.
While there are a lot of accessories to pick from, finding high-quality options can sometimes be difficult. This is where companies like Moshi step in. Moshi is a company that was on the Apple accessory bandwagon very early on. In fact, the company has made accessories since the very first iPad was released over 8 years ago.
With its experience, Moshi is working on a new VersaCover and iVisor AG. If these names sound familiar to you, it is probably because both have been used by Moshi for quite a few generations. Alongside the VersaCover, Moshi will also release an Apple Pencil Holder in colors that will match its new case.
The new iPad Pros adopt USB-C, a port already popular on MacBooks, Android phones, battery packs, and more. Considering that Moshi has already made gear that uses this port, the company is displaying everything on a dedicated landing page for the iPad Pro accessories.
“Since the very first iPad, Moshi has been designing premium accessories to protect the world’s most popular tablet,” said Spencer Pangborn, Director of Product Marketing at Moshi. “VersaCover is our flagship case and is always a top seller. Our latest range of USB-C charging solutions help people power up both at home and on the road.”
VersaCover is a case that is “inspired by origami” and can be folded to prop your iPad Pro at “the right angles for typing, reading, and browsing the web.” iVisor AG on the other hand is a screen protector that reduces glare to make looking your device in bright lighting much easier.
Moshi’s VersaCover, iVisor AG, and Apple Pencil Holder will be available by the end of November and priced at $60, $30, and $15, respectively. It does not appear that Moshi is taking pre-orders at this time, but you can sign-up here to be notified when the new gear is available.
