Xbox One holiday deals now live: Up to $100 off Xbox One, $50 off Game Pass, much more

Xbox One holiday deals

The official Xbox One holiday deals are here. It was a busy Black Friday/Cyber Monday for gaming price drops to say the least, but we aren’t done just yet. Microsoft has now taken to its official blog to announce the upcoming holiday promotions for Xbox One S, Xbox One X, wireless controllers, and Game Pass, among others. While some deals will kick off next week, others are live right now. Head below for all the details.

While we are fresh off the insane Thanksgiving offers, as usual, the Microsoft Xbox One holiday deals are quite notable. And at the very least they will leave shoppers who may have missed out on the Black Friday offers with several discounted options for gifts and the likes as we move towards the holidays.

Console Deals:

First up are the consoles. The Xbox One holiday deals will include $50 off all Xbox One S and Xbox One X consoles, including bundles. Microsoft makes a point of focusing on the Xbox One S Fortnite and Battlefield V bundles alongside the Fallout 76 Xbox One X configuration. While Battlefield V and Fallout 76 have had a rough go with critics the last month or so, from the looks of it the $50 price drop will fortunately be applying to all of the Xbox One offerings out there at most retailers.

We have yet to see the $50 drop hit the Amazon listings, but it looks like Walmart, Best Buy and GameStop are already offering the holiday deal on most bundles. Having said that, you’re gonna want to keep it locked to Electronicsforward as we move closer to the holidays if you’re looking for an even better deal.

For example, the Xbox One X is already seeing the $50 price drop, but Walmart is now offering it at $420 while Best Buy threw the official drop out the window and is now taking a straight $100 off. Another notable option is the Xbox One S 1TB Minecraft Creators Bundle which is now $80 off at Walmart (within $20 of Black Friday doorbusters).

Controller Deals:

Now on to the controllers. Starting on December 9th, the Xbox One holiday deals will include a nice $10 discount on select wireless controllers. While that certainly won’t touch the $35 Black Friday price tag, this deal is focusing on some of the more special edition colorways that very rarely see any kind of price drop anyway. That includes, but is not limited to, the Phantom Black model (already $17 off at Walmart) along with the Sport White edition and what looks to be that amazing PUBG Limited Edition option Microsoft dropped at gamescom 2018.

Live Gold/Game Pass Deals:

Also starting on December 9th, you’ll be able to lock-in a $10 Microsoft Online Store gift card with the purchase of 3-month Xbox Live Gold memberships. Just keep in mind we are already seeing 3 months of Xbox Live Gold for just $10, which is a better value for those not already subscribed.

And lastly, it looks like that fantastic Xbox Game Pass deal we saw for Black Friday will be sticking around for the holiday offerings. Still available right now, you can grab $50 off a one year subscription to the 100+ games Xbox Game Pass supports. This is a great gift option for the gamer on your list and one of the best prices we have ever tracked.

As we mentioned above, stay locked to Electronicsforward and our Games/Apps Guide for all the of the best holiday gaming gifts out there.
