Today is your last day to capitalize on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate pre-order deals. Easily the most anticipated Nintendo Switch release since The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, we are less than 24 hours away from launch and time is winding down on early deals. Head below for all of the best options and more.
At the top of last month, Nintendo hit us with a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct event. And it was a big one. We got details on the new Spirits Mode and the World of Light Adventure story campaign. Along with a staggered release of the last few fighters to hit the roster (Incineroar!), we also caught wind of a late pre-order bonus option. Those who opt in early will get their hands on the new playable Piranha Plant fighter when it releases “sometime in 2019.” And there is less than 24 hours left to lock-in the iconic Mario Bros. enemy (for free with your pre-purchase) along with all of the other notable pre-order discounts and bonuses.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Pre-order Deals:
Let’s focus on the standard edition of the game itself. Your best bet for last minute pre-orders would have to be Best Buy and Amazon. Both options will run you the full $59.99 with a $10 credit, but Best Buy is also throwing in a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Collector Coin in Antique Silver. It is described as a “collectible 1.5″ round Super Smash Bros. Ultimate double-sided coin for real fans.”
As a quick note for those going the Amazon route: The $10 credit is only available on the physical version of the game and it will be added to your account 30 or 35 days after the game ships.
GameStop is throwing in a double-sided Smash Bros. Ultimate poster, but you won’t get the $10 credit to use towards future purchases like the latter two options.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Controllers/Adapters:
When it comes to Smash Bros., some gamers live and die by the classic Gamecube controllers.
