Developer Vector Unit has announced a new mobile title called Beach Buggy Racing coming to iOS, Android and Kindle in August. The game is a follow up to Vector’s popular 2012 Beach Buggy Blitz kart racer and looks as though it will continue the company’s line of well received mobile racing titles.
You can expect much of the same over the top kart-racing action as Beach Buggy Blitz as well as customizable vehicles, new characters each with specific abilities and 12 new tracks set in exotic off-road locations like “dinosaur-infested jungles, lava-spewing volcanoes, beautiful beaches, and mysterious swamps.”
Vector also mentions on its announcement page that the game will include up to 4 player multiplayer races with split-screen action on “one tablet or TV-connected device.“
There is no pricing information on the new upcoming title yet. The original Beach Buggy Blitz is a FREE download on iOS and Android and Vector’s popular hydro jet water racer Riptide GP2 will run you $2 on the App Store and Google Play.
