Continuing its release of 40-series graphics cards, we went hands-on with one of NVIDIA’s latest GPUs – the 4060 Ti 8 GB with an MSRP of $399. The version we have is from PNY’s XLR8 brand and comes in at $449 with RGB lighting. In addition to this card, NVIDIA has also announced the $499 4060 Ti 16 GB, which is to be released in July alongside the base $299 4060. When we reviewed the PlaySeat Trophy Logitech G Edition, I mentioned how expensive it was to get the shifter mount. It costs $50 plus an additional $100 shipping to get it to me here in the US. It’s now listed on B&H but is temporarily out of stock with availability expected in 4-6 months. For most, given the option, wireless headsets are more convenient. You can freely move around a space without worrying about unplugging a cord and never have to worry about cable noise. Remembering to charge them frequently, though, can sometimes cause issues. The Roccat Syn Max Air has an elegant solution with a sizable RGB-wielding dock that will top off the headset. Microsoft has released the new Elite Series 2 Core controller. Available in white, it’s a more affordable option for a “pro” Xbox controller, but it loses most of the accessories like paddles and swappable thumbsticks. Those now come in a separate optional package. After reading over the release and checking the website listing and seeing “re-engineered components,” I decided to pick one up and see how it performs.
