With the new M4 MacBook Pros slated to land this fall, we are now seeing a fantastic price drops on the current M3 models that will remain a compelling option well into the future if you ask me. After seeing a new low land on the entry-level 14-inch model with 8GB of RAM at $1,299 yesterday, Amazon has now dropped the price on the elevated variant with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD down to $1,699 shipped in both colorways. This is a regularly $1,999 machine that is now seeing  straight up $300 price drop to deliver the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon.  This deal is also matched at Best Buy as part of its weekend Apple sale event. 

Update: Amazon its now offering the 15-inch M2 MacBook Air with the 512GB SSD down to within $1 of the all-time low with $299 in savings. Regularly $1,499, you can now score one down at $1,199.99 shipped. You’ll find 13-inch M2 models down at $799 and all of the discounted M3 models at the lowest prices yet down below. 

One of our top 10 deals for Prime Day 2024 went to the Apple M3 MacBook Air at $150 off, and now several configurations are back starting from $850! Regularly $1,499, this is $149 off and within $1 off the all-time low Prime Day price. The 16GB variant is easily one of the best options in the lineup for most folks, one might even argue this is the best current-generation Apple laptop available for folks that don’t need the pro-grade machines – but the 8GB is just as nice at a price like this unless you’re hungry for the extra RAM.  

Update: Amazon is now matching the Best Buy Back to School sale to bring back its all-time low pricing on Apple’s M2 MacBook Air starting from $799 shipped. Regularly $999 these days, this is $200 off and matching the best we have tracked at Amazon. 

While we spotted some notable deals on the previous-generation M2 MacBook Air and the entry-level M3 model for paid Best Buy members this morning at the all-time low, Amazon has now taken just about every 15-inch model back down to some of the lowest prices we have tracked with a solid $200 in savings now live across a range of configurations starting with the 8GB model back down at the $1,099 low or ranging up to the 16GB variant with the 512GB SSD at $1,499 (within $10 of the Amazon low on select colors). While the all-time low pricing has come and gone on the entry-level 13-inch M3 MacBook Airs, Apple’s arguably most compelling current-generation laptop, the latest 15-inch Air with 16GB of RAM, is once again $200 off. Amazon is now offering the Midnight and Space Gray options down at $1,499 shipped with 16GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD. This is within $10 of the all-time low and joins ongoing all-time lows on the entry-level M3 15-inch Air from $1,129, down from the usual $1,299, and the 8GB/512GB model at $1,329 shipped from the usual $1,499. 

We tracked a number of notable price drops on Apple’s M3 and M3 Pro MacBook Pro machines for Memorial Day (many of which are still live for you right here), but we just spotted the silver 16-inch M3 Pro model with 18GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD drop down to $2,199 shipped at both Amazon and Best Buy. That’s $300 off the regularly $2,499 and the lowest price we can find. It also comes in at $100 below our previous mention. While in most cases the 18GB of RAM will suffice, if you need some serious RAM power, Amazon is also offering $350 off the 36GB upgraded model at $2,549, down from the regular $2,899 – this deal is also matched at Best Buy right now. Several retailers are now clearing out Apple’s previous-generation 13-inch M2 MacBook Air. The newer M3 version was just revealed earlier this spring and now we’re seeing an all-time low on the older version at $849 shipped in three styles. Today’s offer is available at B&H as well as Best Buy. This is $249 below its original price tag and that of the newer M3 counterpart.
