After debuting its new pro-grade DualSense Edge recently, Sony has now announced the Gray Camouflage Collection coming to its PS5 family of accessories. Set to join the rest of the now available galaxy-inspired color lineup of standard model DualSense game pads and PlayStation 5 console covers, today Sony is showing off the new stealthy camo treatment coming to its controllers, Pulse 3D wireless headset, and covers for both the all-digital PS5 and the disc drive-equipped model. A PlayStation 5 price increase is on the way. Unlike the Xbox Series S and Series X machines, locking down a PlayStation 5 at regular price is still quite difficult, despite some of the direct offers that have come available in the last week or so. But it appears things are going to get worse before they get better once again as Sony has now officially announced a price increase on a machine millions of gamers still haven’t even had a chance to purchase yet. The only real glimmer at the end of tunnel here is for US gamers, as it looks as though the price hike will only apply outside of the United States, for now. Head below for more. 

Sony is ramping up for the launch of its latest-generation PS VR2 platform and has now taken to its official PlayStation Blog with some new details. After catching our first glimpse of the PlayStation VR2 headset back in February, Sony is now detailing some of the interesting user experience features with some new details on see-through mode, live-stream broadcasting options, custom play areas, and more. Just after launching the new overhauled PlayStation Plus program, Sony is readying something called PlayStation Stars. The wait has finally come to an end as Sony and developer Santa Monica studios have taken to the official PlayStation blog to unveil the God of War Ragnarök release date. The highly-anticipated sequel, once believed to see delays into 2023, will indeed be launching ahead of the holidays this year in November. Set for release on PlayStation 4 and PS5, the sequel to 2018’s epic reboot of the series is set to once again star Kratos and son Atreus as exemplified in today’s new Father and Son CG Trailer. Alongside the release date and new footage, Sony has dished up a series of new images, details on pre-order bonuses, and all the different editions of God of War Ragnarök. A PlayStation 5 pro controller might be in the works. What could be the PlayStation 5 DualSense Pro controller is apparently on the verge of being officially revealed, according to an industry insider with more than one source close to the matter. Sony never really attempted its own pro-grade, first-party gamepad for its previous-generation console the way Microsoft did with its Elite Series 2, but if these rumors ring true, we might very well be seeing a new PlayStation 5 pro controller before the month is out.
