Sony promised PC support for PlayStation VR2, and it looks to have made an adapter for just that

Okay, thanks for knocking $100 off for a limited time Sony, but where’s the PS VR2 PC support you promised? One thing, just about everyone, feels is holding the PS VR2 platform back is its required connection to a PS5. This arguably makes for a more stable experience for all users, but it needs to get PC support and, if you ask me, it needs it soon. It has been out in the wild for well over a year now, the game library still feels a bit stunted (although it is showing off new titles tomorrow), and, at least in some ways, sales are too because of it. Sony has indeed said it would take its latest virtual reality gaming platform off the leash at some point this year, and some new evidence has surfaced that it is indeed what is still happening. Check it out below.

Microsoft set to shutter Xbox 360 Store for good, hundreds of classic games now up to 90% off

After Nintendo shut the doors on its Wii U and 3DS shops, we are just a couple months away from Microsoft doing the same thing for Xbox 360. As previously announced last summer, Xbox has a scheduled “change coming to the Xbox 360 experience,” which is a careful way of saying it will no longer operate the Xbox 360 Store on the console and the Xbox 360 Marketplace. Best of all, Xbox is putting a massive selection of these older titles on sale from now through July 29 to help the cause. More details below.

Super Mario Land, alongside Baseball – a game so old, it’s just called Baseball – and Alleyway, are now live on Switch Online as part of Nintendo’s celebration of 35 years of Game Boy. Today’s best game deals: Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon 50% off, Kirby Star Allies $30, more

Reg. $60 $30

Walmart is now offering Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S down at $30. Score free in-store pickup where available or free delivery with Walmart+ (free trial). Regularly $60, this is a straight up 50% price drop, $10 below our previous mention, and the lowest price we can find. It is currently starting at over $45 on Amazon where it has never dropped below $40. For those unfamiliar, this one comes from the developers of the Dark Souls series and Elden Ring. AC6 marks a return for the long-running series as well as a new beginning in some ways. It is a departure from the dev’s more recent Soulsborne formula, but fans of the mech battle series (and games like it) will want to take a closer look, especially while it’s 50% off. There’s a particularly deep pilot and mech customization system in place, alongside a super fast-paced combat action across a series of missions set on the planet Rubicon 3.
