Sony promised PC support for PlayStation VR2, and it looks to have made an adapter for just that

Okay, thanks for knocking $100 off for a limited time Sony, but where’s the PS VR2 PC support you promised? One thing, just about everyone, feels is holding the PS VR2 platform back is its required connection to a PS5. This arguably makes for a more stable experience for all users, but it needs to get PC support and, if you ask me, it needs it soon. It has been out in the wild for well over a year now, the game library still feels a bit stunted (although it is showing off new titles tomorrow), and, at least in some ways, sales are too because of it. Sony has indeed said it would take its latest virtual reality gaming platform off the leash at some point this year, and some new evidence has surfaced that it is indeed what is still happening. Prepare for the Land of Shadow Tarnished, official debut Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree story trailer goes live today!

Tarnished preparing to (die) embark on the Land of Shadow finally got a first look at the highly-anticipated new Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion back in February, and they will again today. Elden Ring was a runaway hit (among gamers that love the FromSoft vibe and like to be punished around every turn….it is incredible), and the company’s long-awaited DLC expansion for the game is quickly approaching with a launch set for June 21, 2024. Today, BANDAI NAMCO is readying its YouTube channel to premiere our next good look at the expansion with the debut of the official Story Trailer. It will go live at 10:55 a.m. ET (there’s a short countdown ahead of time, so likely 11 a.m.), and you can follow along down below.

Microsoft set to shutter Xbox 360 Store for good, hundreds of classic games now up to 90% off

After Nintendo shut the doors on its Wii U and 3DS shops, we are just a couple months away from Microsoft doing the same thing for Xbox 360. As previously announced last summer, Xbox has a scheduled “change coming to the Xbox 360 experience,” which is a careful way of saying it will no longer operate the Xbox 360 Store on the console and the Xbox 360 Marketplace. This means Xbox will stop supporting the “ability to purchase new games, DLC, and other entertainment content” – don’t worry you’ll still be able to play all of the stuff you already own – come July…so it might be time to stock up. Best of all, Xbox is putting a massive selection of these older titles on sale from now through July 29 to help the cause. More details below.

Nintendo brings original Super Mario Land and more to Switch Online to celebrate 35 years of Game Boy

Nintendo is taking it way back with its latest additions to the Switch Online game library, and I mean way back, like late ‘80s back. After seeing a slew of classic Mario titles land on the service for Mario 2024, followed by the previously unreleased in North America Wrecking Crew ’98, Nintendo is finally ready to bring the original Super Mario Game Boy experience to Switch Online members everywhere. Super Mario Land, alongside Baseball – a game so old, it’s just called Baseball – and Alleyway, are now live on Switch Online as part of Nintendo’s celebration of 35 years of Game Boy. Head below for more details.
