Black Friday always offers a wide variety of discounts on a number of products, but so far this year its been slim for consumers looking for a new Mac. We have confirmed some deals from Best Buy, but they are not offering a wide variety of configurations, and have tax implications depending on your state.
Adorama and B&H Photo are both offering discounts on most Mac models this week, we’ve already spotted a nice price drop on an iMac with Retina 5K display + AppleCare from Adorama.
In some cases Adorama is bundling AppleCare with a purchase for a discounted price. B&H currently only charges for taxes for New York residents at the time of purchase, while it varies for Adorama. Additionally, you’ll need a free Adorama VIP membership to take advantage of these prices.

This time next week we’ll all be recovering from our Black Friday hangover and prepping for Cyber Monday. But before that, we have a whole lot of deals (and turkey!) to splurge on.
eBay Daily Deals is one of our favorite places to score a hot deal and we finally have its Black Friday plans. As expected, it includes some pretty great deals.
PlayStation 4 will be just $329.99, which is the lowest price we have ever seen and better than any other pre-announced Black Friday deal. We’re not sure on exact models or pricing, but the ad states that iPad Air 2 will get a 20% discount. An unlocked iPhone 6 will be available for $639.99. That’s just a $10 discount but it’s still notable since it’s the first deal we’ve ever seen on Apple’s latest smartphone and you can potentially save on sales tax at the time of purchase. The $35.99 Xbox Live 12-month Gold Membership and 25% iTunes gift card discount are also extremely strong deals.
Head below for Black Friday ads from Newegg, Microsoft, Sprint, Monoprice and a first look at Walmart’s Cyber Monday plans:
Update (11/21 1:00pm): While a few of the HDTV deals (and other things) have sold out now online, there is still a wide selection of deals to be had on home goods, electric shavers and more.
We’re officially knee deep in Black Friday deals. Some of Walmart’s Pre-Black Friday deals have gone live a little early.
Most notably, there are two different 40-inch LED HDTVs for just $115 with free in-store pickup:
Both of those deals are far the lowest price we have ever seen on any 40-inch HDTV. If both remain in-stock, then I would choose the Emerson model due to it having a higher refresh rate.
Other deals include:
You can also find 32GB iPod touches in every color $20 off. That’s not the best prices we’ve ever seen but a nice way to spend some gift cards that you know have in your pocket.
Check out our preview of Walmart’s Pre-Black Friday sale to get an idea of other deals we’re expecting to see.
Hotel Tonight, the popular day-of reservation app for iOS and Android will be offering hotel deals in both the US and UK starting at $7 on Black Friday. After sitting idly while its biggest competitors released Black Friday Ads and announced Pre-Black Friday Sales, Amazon has finally detailed its Black Friday 2014 plans.
Here’s how it shakes out:
Amazon will offer eight days of Black Friday deals, with new deals being added “as often as every ten minutes.” Additionally, Amazon will offer three Gold Box Deals of the Day on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
Remember, Amazon Prime members will continue to have early access to select Lightning deals. If you aren’t a member than I recommend signing up for the free 30-day trial right now to lock in free 2-day shipping and exclusive offers throughout the holiday shopping season.
Continue on for the full press release and Amazon’s Black Friday prices for a range of HDTVs, Nest Learning Thermostat, Fitbit Aria Wi-Fi Smart Scale, and many home items:
Update (11/20 10:30am): Walmart has released the full details of tomorrow’s Pre-Black Friday sale. Deals include a Playstation 4 with a free $50 gift card, a 40-inch HDTV for $115, Samsung Chromebook for $199 with a free $50 gift card, and the iPad/iPhone deals already mentioned below.
Walmart is keeping its promise to make Black Friday a monthlong sales event. We’ve already seen several doorbuster level deals from Walmart in the past week, but the big-box retailer has a couple more tricks up its sleeve.
Beginning at 8am on Friday, Walmart “will be matching or beating select Black Friday offers from top national competitors on items.” The press release is extremely vague when it comes to specific deals, but it did out one that we are especially excited for:
The included gift card brings the total effective iPad Air 2 price down to $389. Now, Target charges $10 more for the same iPad Air 2, but will beat Walmart by including a free $140 gift card. The only catch is that you may have to fight crowds or get lucky online to snag that deal. My advice is to grab whichever deal you happen to find in stock.
This sale also includes an iPhone 6 with a free $75 gift card for $179.
Check back Friday morning for our rundown of Walmart’s top Pre-Black Friday deals.
Black Friday ads from rival membership-only clubs, Costco and Sam’s Club, have already been revealed but today we’re getting a look at BJ’s ad. The 14-page ad leans heavily on HDTVs and home goods. An extremely weak 12% discount on iTunes gift cards is the only Apple-Related deal listed in the ad. Deals will run from 11/22 through…
TigerDirect’s in-store Black Friday advertisement has hit the web, and we’ve got some of the highlights here for you. It is important to note that these deals are in-store only (store locator), but we expect them to offer a bevy of Cyber Monday deals online as well. Doorbusters begin Friday at 5am until 10am. As always,…

Update (11/18 3:30pm): You can see the Walmart Thanksgiving weekend ad now as well.

We’ve already seen a number of Black Friday advertisements, but now the Cyber Monday deals are starting to pop up as well. As we approach Thanksgiving and the gift buying that follows, make sure you continue to check Electronicsforward for the latest buying tips and deals for the holiday season.
As always, we’ve studied the latest ad leaks and picked out some of our favorite deals. Head below for deals from the above retailers and more…
Now that Black Friday is less than two weeks away, we are getting a look at what major national game retailer GameStop will have to offer. The leaked ad shows discounts on everything from consoles to games, with over 4,000 stores open at midnight on November 28th.
For the most part, it looks as though GameStop will be matching Best Buy, Walmart and others with the major PS4 bundles at $400 and the Xbox One bundles starting at $330. But keep in mind, Sony announced the The Last of Us/GTA V bundle for $400 as an official price drop and should soon be available on Amazon. You’ll also find $20 to $30 off games on all platforms as well as discounts on accessories and older systems.
Here are some of our picks from the leaked ad:
Update (11/17 2:15pm): Amazon also has some of the Samsung TV Black Friday deals available for pre-order.
Samsung is allowing you to lock in your Black Friday savings before they officially go live on 11/23. Many of the following deals are also available at other retailers, but if you wait for those sales to go live you may have to camp out to snag a doorbuster or relentlessly check online.
If you know what deals you’re targeting already then you’re best bet is to lock in Black Friday pricing now. Special pricing is available for select TVs, wearables, tablets, Chromebooks, home theater, Blu-ray players, monitors, and cameras.
Our favorite deals are as follows:
We’re back, this time with even more Black Friday ad leaks to get you started on this Saturday morning. Today, we’ve got a new look at what Costco has to offer Thanksgiving weekend, as well as full shopping guides from Bed Bath and Beyond, Old Navy and Olympia Sports. The countdown to Black Friday is on, with just over two weeks left we are seeing more each day. This morning we have already seen flyers from Big Lots, as well as CVS, Shopko and True Value. Customers will find a variety of deals from these retailers, ranging from HDTVs and digital cameras at Costco to furniture and other home goods at Big Lots. Additionally, CVS, Shopko and True Value will each offer their own deals in a variety of categories such as home goods, christmas decorations and more.
Below you’ll find our favorite deals from each of the aforementioned retailers.
It is definitely November. Three days in a row we’ve shared different blockbuster Black Friday ads: Monday was Target, yesterday was Best Buy, and now we have Walmart.
Walmart’s holiday deals often standout from a pricing and spectacle perspective. As seen in the lead image for this article, Walmart is planning three separate sales events for Black Friday 2014: November 28th 6am (event 3), November 27th 8pm (event 2), November 27th 6pm (event 1). Each event will ring in new deals that will last one to two days or until supplies are exhausted. See banner above for specifics.
Once again, Walmart stores will offer a 1-hour guarantee on select products, which means Walmart is promising that you’ll get your deal of choice by Christmas as long as your purchase is processed between 6-7pm on Thursday.
Enough with logistics, it’s time to explore the best Walmart Black Friday deals for 2014:
