Transform “your album photos and snaps into beautiful paintings in one touch” with Brushstroke for free. The regular $4 image manipulation app is now available for nothing on all your iOS devices. Knots 3D for iOS is now available for free. Regularly $2, this is the first time in nearly a year it has been available for nothing. “Used by arborists, fishermen, firefighters, climbers, military and boy scouts the world over”, Knots 3D has amassed a 4+ star rating from over 3,100 users. Groupon offers a free three-month subscription to Scribd, the online audiobook service. For comparison, new subscribers are typically only privy to a one-month subscription. Following the initial trial period, each month usually goes for $9. Today’s deal is a $27 value and a match for the best that we’ve seen. Groupon offers a Hulu 45-Day Trial for free. Hulu typically offers a free month long trial, so taking advantage of today’s deal earns you just over an extra two weeks. The streaming service regularly goes for $8 a month, so this saves you around $12 in total. Hulu offers a wide variety of shows from classics like Seinfeld, to exclusive content such as The Mindy Project. Note that at the end of your trial, it will automatically roll into a paid subscription, so you’ll want to cancel prior to the end of the 45 days.

Regularly $2, this is the very first time the virtual pet app has gone free. The Howler is a very unique iOS title. It combines the use of sound and motion gestures with artistic adventure-puzzler gameplay mechanics. Amazon announced this morning that it is launching a new service called Amazon Cash. It will allow Amazon shoppers to add cash to their Amazon.com balance just by showing a barcode at a participating retailer. The service will support adding any amount between $15 and $500 in a single transaction. Some daily limits my also be imposed depending on the retailer you use.

The unique story driven puzzler Able Black is now available for free on the App Store. Regularly $2, this is the very first time we have seen the game go for free. Unlike your typical casual puzzle game, Able Black has a deep story and uses a series of text, sounds and images to help you solve puzzles and unravel the mysteries of Ark 19, an “underground habitat designed to save humanity from disaster”. Anyone interested in mobile mystery titles or text based adventures, should definitely give this one a go while it’s completely free. It carries a 5 star rating from over 480 gamers.

Blyss and its procedurally generated puzzles are now available for free. This is the very first time the game has gone for less than the usual $1 or $2 on the App Store. It features what is described as an “unlimited” number of “self-evolving puzzles”, various game modes and an ambient soundtrack. If you’re into those relaxing mobile puzzle experiences you can just pick up at any time, Blyss should be an automatic download for you.

From time to time we highlight deals for the comic subscription service Marvel Unlimited. However, we’ve never really gone into detail about what this service really offers and what it means to the comic book fan or someone who’s looking to become one.
Currently, anyone can try out this service free for 1-month. Marvel is attempting to hype the latest hero arriving at Netflix, Iron Fist (which if you’ve read the reviews, it could use all the help in can get).
