Aside from the ads in the videos, the only catch is that you’ll have to create a login to access the library of content. Also, it will ask you for credit card info if you plan on making purchases, but you can skip that step if you want.

A few good titles that are available for free are “School of Rock,” “True Grit,” “The Magnificent Seven,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Mad Max,” “Star Trek Nemesis,” “The Walking Dead,” and many more. This new program is a smart move by the Walmart owned company to generate revenue from older content and potentially attract new customers that may end up buying or renting premium content. Vudu is accessible from the web and via downloadable app for iOS and Android. Also you can watch on most smart TVs, Roku, and Chromecast.

Netflix September Preview: Marvel’s Luke Cage, Supergirl, Gotham, Narcos, more on the way!

The leaves are changing color, people are adding pumpkin spice to everything and you’re wearing your favorite flannel to bonfires. That’s right, the fall is finally here! Not only do you have those things to look forward to but we also get new programming on TV – Yes even on Netflix.

You’ll have to wait until the end of the September for Marvel’s Luke Cage, but by all indications it should be worth it. The highly anticipated series is based on the Marvel comic character of the same name, who was first introduced to television in season one of Jessica Jones. The series will see actor Mike Colter reprising his role, in addition to Rosario Dawson who will return as Claire Temple. Fans of Netflix’s Daredevil and Jessica Jones are sure to enjoy this original series. For the DC superheroes, Supergirl season 1 and Gotham season 2 are also available to stream this month. You can also start watching Narcos again. Season 2 hits in September.
