Update: While the scheduled Target offer below isn’t set to go live until tomorrow, you can score the same thing for today only with a $75 Best Buy gift card instead.

As a part of its Black Friday sale, Target is now offering a $75 gift card with Meta’s latest Quest 3S headset at $299.99 shipped. This is a brand-new headset that hit the scene in September with a $300 price tag and is yet to have seen a price drop. Today’s deal at Target, though not a straight-up cash discount, lets you save $75 on the headset with a FREE gift card that can go towards securing other deals that are now live at the retailer for Black Friday. Cashing in on this deal and securing the gift card essentially translates to scoring the headset for $225 with a free $50 game, which is great considering this is a brand-new headset that is less than two months old. Head below for more details of the headset.

Meta Quest 2 is the best value around in VR with discount to $199 (Reg. $250)

Reg. $250 $199

Update: The Meta Quest 2 is now down to just $199 at Amazon.

Amazon is now offering the Meta Quest 2 with Active Pack at $218.57 shipped. This is down from its usual $310 price tag and marks a new all-time low on this bundle. We last saw the headset on its own for $250 over the holidays with a $50 credit attached. This offer isn’t quite the same value, but you’ll have to spend less to bring home the VR experience and some extra gear. Back when we first reviewed the headset, we noted that it was a “huge leap in the right direction for VR.” That leap forward still stands today, as this is one of the best values around for virtual reality.

Meta Quest 2 VR headset sees rare discount down to $460 for 256GB model (Reg. $500)

Reg. $500 $460

Through the end of the day, Woot now offers the Meta Quest 2 256GB VR Headset for $459.99 shipped. Normally fetching $500, you’re looking at $40 in savings and quite the rare chance to save. We’ve only seen a single cash discount land on this model since joining the smaller capacity model, with a Black Friday discount in November beating today’s offer by an extra $10. That makes this the second-best price to date, too. Whether you know it by the Oculus or Meta naming scheme, the Quest 2 delivers an untethered virtual reality experience that doesn’t need an external PC or sensors to experience all of the immersion that VR has to offer. You’re also getting a pair of controllers that take the interactivity to a new level for diving into games like Among Us VR and more. Meta is also removing the need to log in with FaceBook, as well. Get a closer look in our hands-on review where we noted it was a “huge leap in the right direction for VR.” Then head below for more.
