As of late, more and more audiophile-grade headphones have opted for planar magnetic drivers rather than traditional ones. And while they do boast rich audio output, these headphones often require an additional amp to work with our smartphones and computers. Audeze, a veteran in the high-end audio space, is looking to tackle this problem with its latest pair of headphones. Sporting a sleek design and crisp sound playback, the LCD-4z headphones also carry an equally impressive price tag.

If there’s one thing that parents worry about, it’s their kids. Sure, I don’t have any, but I am around parents (and children) quite often. Keeping track of older kids is getting easier now that most of them are getting phones and things like Apple’s Find my Friends is a thing. Amazon’s Echo lineup has taken the world by storm. Personally, I have 4 of these devices around my home (along with HomePod and Google Home devices, but we’ll ignore that for this post.) Today at Facebook’s F8 developer conference, Oculus announced that the affordable Oculus Go VR headset is now available for order. Not a bad turnaround considering that Oculus Go was first revealed in October. Oculus is trying to make a big splash with this release by keeping the price low and availability high by releasing it across 23 countries.

Update (5/31): The Atari VCS is now available for pre-order and has already been funded with an entire month left to go.

If you read our coverage back in March of Atari VCS, we had a general idea about pricing and pre-order dates, but detailed information was lacking. At that time Atari said that it would provide this information in April, and today, the company did just that. Atari today announced a concrete pre-order start date, where the VCS can be ordered, initial pricing information, and a general shipping timeframe.

When it comes to computer processors, AMD has taken second-chair to Intel for about the past decade. Last year, AMD launched its Ryzen CPU platform. Offering more cores and better performance than Intel’s CPU lineup at the time, AMD easily took the stage and came back with a vengeance.

I used to never recommend AMD personally, and Ryzen changed that. I have built countless machines with this new architecture and it never disappoints. We even user Ryzen 5 CPU in our budget gaming build that we recently completed. Today, AMD announced updated Ryzen processors with new price points that are bound to fit just about every budget.
