Tug is the MagSafe connector for the rest of your home

USB-C is great for our newest devices, but there’s just one thing we all miss about the old MacBooks. Okay..well, two if you count all the available ports we once had. What I’m talking about is that MagSafe connection that saved so many laptops from certain doom. You know, when you would accidentally yank the cord when you tripped over it. Unfortunately, Apple isn’t likely to bring back the MagSafe connection, but now you can outfit your house with similar type adapters right at the outlet.

Action-adventure game Monster Boy Cursed Kingdom gets physical release on Switch/PS4

While Nintendo has thus far done a great job supporting Switch with excellent first party titles, we are always on the hunt for new and interesting experiences to fill out our libraries. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey have propelled the latest hybrid Nintendo console to new heights. However, it’s the smaller, sometimes indie titles that keep us occupied in between releases of Nintendo’s juggernaut franchises. So we were certainly excited when new details on the upcoming new Monster Boy game hit Twitter this morning.

Kube delivers AirPlay and 50-hours of battery life in a $3,000 outdoor speaker

The world of outdoor speakers is a rather mixed bag in 2018. There are plenty of Bluetooth options, but those largely lack audiophile-grade features. Sonos doesn’t offer an official outdoor speaker, although PLAY:1 is rated for humid environments. That said, the market is fairly wide open.

Thomas & Darden first detailed its Kube Outdoor AirPlay speaker a few years back as an all-in-one outdoor audio solution. Priced at $1,000 in 2015, it’s finally available today for $3,000 after various iterations and design changes. While it’s hardly a budget option, Thomas & Darden appear set on pricing itself out of the low-end market with this premium offering.

But, 4K has been out for years and is just becoming mainstream. Most phones now can shoot in 4K, cameras are finally catching up and becoming affordable. So we’re good with that, right? No need to go any higher, 4K is already super a high-resolution, right? Wrong. While 4K is very high-resolution (4 times that of 1080p), 8K is what’s next.

There are already a few 8K cameras on the market, none consumer focused, but I’m OK with that. Panavision, a company you might have heard of, recently announced its 8K camera, but what does that mean for consumers who will never purchase (or even use) said camera? Read below to find out.

Lexip is a gaming mouse that brings a new dimension to an age-old design

If you game on PC, you likely have a gaming mouse. At least, a gaming mouse of some sort. I had the Razer Mamba Chroma wireless gaming mouse for a while, and seriously loved it. The ergonomics were great, it was wired or wireless, and the sensor was fantastic. But it was a normal mouse. It had a left and right click, scroll wheel, and then back/forward buttons on the side. But there was nothing really “special” about it besides the sensor and that it was wireless with RGB lighting.

PC gaming mice have kinda been stagnant lately. Sure, a new mouse might come on the scene that has a better sensor, or maybe less latency over wireless communications, but where’s the real innovation. There’s actually a kickstarter for a mouse called the Lexip, and it’s for several things that could really be game changers for PC players out there.
