Today Fujifilm has unveiled its new X-E3 mirrorless camera. With a lesser footprint than the aging X-E2, this is now the smallest of the brand’s viewfinder-equipped offerings. But despite its stature, Fujifilm has loaded this camera down with features. It’s headlined by a 24.3-megapixel sensor and full 4K video support, along with wireless connectivity. All of this comes in at under $900, making it a viable option that may pry some Canon and Panasonic die-hards away from their beloved cameras.

SmartShow, a high-tech enterprise based in New York, has invented a mug that can keep your ideal temperature, hot or cold, for up to 12 hours. It can also display the current temperature inside the mug and provide wireless charging from its base. There’s even an alert system that can remind you to drink the recommended amount of water each day. Currently being funded on Indiegogo, you can bring this smart mug home with a pledge of $89.

Projectors are an excellent way to go from a typical home theater setup to the next level. But one of the most common complaints that comes along with this tech is the unsightly design typically found on most ceiling mounted options. Going with a short-throw projector can help solve that problem and Epson’s latest seems to fit the bill.

The new Home Cinema LS100 is described as an “ultra short-throw” display that uses laser technology to recreate a 120-inch 1080p display while sitting very close to the wall. The QardioBase 2 builds off of the success of its predecessor and its iconic design. Canon announced today the EOS M100 interchangeable mirrorless camera. It’s a new starting point for camera enthusiasts who want something a little more than what the typical smartphone can offer. It has a 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor housed inside the M100 body and is reportedly easier to handle than the traditional point and shoot options out there.

While new 360-degree cameras have been revealing themselves here and there, they’ve generally included similar functionality. Among these new cameras, those of us who are into these VR devices may have seen Shenzen-based Insta360’s products come about. Some are iPhone-compatible which is nice, however they seem to have mixed reviews about the quality and performance of the cameras.

Today the company has introduced another Insta360 camera that offers a few special features that we haven’t seen before. Also compatible with iPhone, the Insta360 One is a pill-shaped little device that offers the usual 4K quality footage at 30 frames per second, and captures 24MP stills. As a bonus with this camera, we have the ability to take a 1080p frame as a photo from 360-degree videos that you shoot.
