TCL’s giant 98-inch QM6 Google TV released at $3,000 this year, just dropped again to new $1,450 low

Update: The price on the 98-inch Q65 model has now dropped an additional $350 for a new Amazon low. Details below.

While we are now tracking a notable price drop on TCL’s more entry-level 98-inch Q65 model that has now dropped the original $3,000 list down to $1,798 $1,449.99 shipped at Amazon, we are also seeing an even deeper deal on the higher-end 98-inch QM7. This one launched back in May at $5,000, but both Amazon and Best Buy have now dropped the price down to $2,298 shipped. The QM7 now carries a regular price at $4,000 via Best Buy and has more recently been bouncing between roughly $2,450 and $5,000 at Amazon, but either way you’re looking at up to $2,700 off the price it launched at earlier this year, $1,700 off the going rate at Best Buy, and a new Amazon all-time low.

Early Black Friday TCL Google Smart TV deals live at up to $2,700 off with deals from $248

$2,700 off From $248

The Black Friday-worthy deals on smart TVs are starting to heat up and TCL’s latest 2024 lineup is seeing some seriously notable deals right now. First let’s take a look at a couple outlier all-time lows before we dive into the current deals pricing on the Q6 and Q7 lineups. Best Buy is now offering this 2024 model TCL 85-inch Class Q5-Series 4K UHD HDR PRO+ QLED Smart Fire TV down at $749.99 shipped. This is a regularly $1,200 model now seeing a solid $450 price drop to deliver the lowest price we can find. All things considered, it might not be the highest-end display out there, but we are talking about current-generation 85-incher at $750 – most mid-range smart TVs this big from a brand like this fetch over $1,000. That said, you will want to head below for another all-time low price on higher-end 85-inch Google TV and more.

TCL’s 85-inch 120Hz Google smart TV with AirPlay back at the $1,400 low ($1,100 under the original price)

$1,400

Just as I have said before, there’s nothing quite like a brand new shiny 2024 smart TV, but the value on the still perfectly capable 2023 models are enticing to say the least. A great example of this is the deal we are tracking at Amazon for the TCL 85-inch QM8 QLED 4K Smart mini-LED Google TV down at $1,399.99 shipped. First released last spring, it landed with a $2,500 sticker and is now a whole lot less than that. Over the last several months at Amazon it has been carrying a $1,700 price tag and has now returned to the lowest price we have tracked there at an additional $300 off. You’re paying $1,100 les today than you would’ve last spring. That’s a serious deal and a great price for a sizable 85-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
