If you’ve spent any time on the photography side of TikTok, you’ll likely know about the famous Fujifilm X100V. The camera became so popular over the past few years that it sold out and practically remained out of stock since. Now, Fujifilm is meeting all of that demand and fanfare with the new X100VI camera.
If you’re in the photography scene at all, there’s no avoiding just how popular the Fujifilm X100V is. And even if you’re not, odds are you’ve at least seen someone on TikTok or Twitter sharing gorgeous photos all across social media. But if you’ve tried to get your hands on one, all of that popularity has made it nearly impossible to bring those signature vibes to your photography kit.
Last fall, Fujifilm released the new X-T5, a mirrorless camera that not only delivers on those signature vintage shooting capabilities and old-school form factor but packs even more professional features. As far more than just the next best thing to its famous brethren, I’ve been putting the new camera through its paces over the past few months.
This week, FUJIFILM is announcing its X-H2 high-resolution mirrorless camera, featuring the “world’s first 40MP APS-C sensor,” which also has the ability to record 8K30, 4K60, and 1080p240 video. Yep, you read all that right. This is a pretty impressive APS-C mirrorless camera, all things considered. And, given its premium features, it’s priced pretty competitively.
FUJIFILM is expanding its mobile film printer collection with the new INSTAX MINI LINK 2 Smartphone Printer that allows its users to get creative with decorative frames, filters, sketches, and stickers with the INSTAX MINI LINK 2 app. This printer will come in three different colors and is launching alongside a new INSTAX MINI Spray Art instant film that features a colorful rainbow spray design. Both are expected to become available on June 22.
FUJIFILM is a well-known company in the photography space for its work with film and digital cameras and it is now announcing its all-new flagship, the X-H2S Mirrorless Camera. Featuring tons of improvements across the board, especially with video, the X-H2S will launch alongside the new XF 18-120mm f/4 and XF 150-600mm f/5.6-8 APS-C lenses.
Just in time for the release of New Pokemon Snap at the end of the month, Fujifilm is launching a new mini Nintendo Switch printer. Based on the brand’s Instax Mini Link smartphone printer, Fujifilm and Nintendo have now joined forces for a special edition model that will allow gamers to print directly from their Switch console to the printer via a dedicated smartphone app. The oddly named INSTAX Mini Link for Nintendo Switch Smartphone Printer is not just for New Pokemon Snap, though. It also works with Animal Crossing New Horizons, Super Mario Odyssey, and just about every other title your Switch can play. Head below for more details and a closer look.
Earlier today, Fujifilm announced the newest addition to their Instax lineup, the Instax Mini 40. And for anyone wondering, whoa, when did I miss Instax 12-39? Don’t worry, the 40 appears to reference the Mini 40’s vintage design, imitating that of a classic 40mm camera. Perfect for beginner photographers, or anyone looking for a cutesy instant memory-maker, the Instax Mini 40 touts the same popular features you’d find with the Instax Mini 11. The main selling point here is the stylish, vintage body, and the “selfie-mode” feature for close-up shots or, funny enough, selfies. See below for more info on how you can score what’s sure to be the summer’s hottest accessory.
Today Fujifilm is out with a new selection of digital cameras today, expanding its footprint in the competitive space. Headlining today’s announcement is the mirrorless GFX100S, which features a compact design and a massive 102MP large format sensor. The GFX100S, in fact, delivers “the world’s highest” large-format sensor, making it a particularly notable release in this year’s product cycle. Fuji is also bringing is smaller mirrorless camera to market today with the X-E4, which features a compact design and fast autofocus design. Head below for full details on all of today’s Fuji announcements.
